A mom drives kids to fight, and drama ensues. Meet Lakenya Hall, the Louisiana mom of the year, who made the terrible decision to drive 2 of her sons, ages 11 and 15, along with four friends to fight a group of boys.
On April 8, the mom of two took the children to a home near the 3500 block of West Louisiana State Drive in Kenner around 5 p.m. where a brawl took place.
According to Lt. Brian McGregor, spokesman for the Kenner Police Department, the children were involved in a fight at a bus stop that occurred earlier in the day. During the melee, a 15-year-old boy grabbed a .22-caliber pistol from his backpack and shot a 14-year-old boy who is a friend of Hall’s sons.
The bullet struck the young man on the upper thigh. The teen was rushed to a Medical Center in Kenner and is said to be doing well.
Police arrested the 15-year-old boy residing at 3500 block of West Louisiana State Drive and he was charged with aggravated battery, illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, illegal use of weapons and disturbing the peace by fighting.
As for Hall, she was booked for disturbing the peace by fighting and six counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. The disgraceful mom is still behind bars at the Kenner Police Department while her sons are locked up at the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Assessment Center.
Hall’s sons were charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. According to the police officer, more arrests are expected to be made. McGregor added:
“Just because you’ve been in a fight, it doesn’t give you the right to go over there and start a whole new fight. She’s instigating something by taking the group over there in the first place. We’re not going to have all these juveniles engaging in a fight in the city of Kenner.”
Police are currently searching for a video of the fight. Mom drives kids to fight, and some are wondering if parenting can get lower than this.

This is probably a mom who perceives a ‘disrespect’ issue and honestly believes that she is teaching her boys to survive in their neighborhood. Even if she has to go to another neighborhood to teach the lesson. She honestly believes that other parents don’t understand the world she lives in.
