Michael Brea Ugly Betty Actor: Murderer? – Michael Brea, 31, was an actor who had appeared on “Ugly Betty” as well as in “Step-Up 3-D”. He was recently taken into a psychiatric ward after killing his mother Yannick Brea with a samurai sword and screaming Bible passages at her while doing so.
According to witnesses, Brea went on a tirade against his mother, screaming things like “Repent!” while hacking at her body with a samurai sword. Brea’s mother’s body was found cut up and decapitated. She was dead when police officers arrived at the scene.
According to reports from neighbors, police were on the scene for an hour beforehand, but they did not enter the apartment until it was too late, even though people were pleading for them to go in. Neighbor Clinton Clare said, “I could hear her groaning inside…she was still alive, but they wouldn’t go in.”
Other neighbors reported hearing screams coming from the second floor apartment around 1:30 am. Another neighbor, Gregory Clare, said, “I hear the brother chasing her [his mother] through the house and he’s just saying a bunch of like [Bible] passages like, ‘Repent, Repent, Repent’.
I heard him chasing her through the house and I hear a loud scream and so I have my father call the cops, call 911.”
