Memphis teen mob of 125 attacked Kroger employees and a customer. Two Memphis teens were beaten by a mob of young thugs and the disturbing incident was caught on camera. One adult and two teenagers from Memphis, Tennessee were brutally attacked by a mob of youngsters taking part in the internet knockout game. The teen mob threw huge Halloween pumpkins at two of the victims who are Kroger employees and knocked them unconscious. 11 of the culprits were arrested, the other 114 are still on the loose.
Saturday night, two teens were almost killed in Memphis, Tennessee by a mob of wild thugs. The sad incident took place in the parking lot of the Kroger store at Highland St. and Poplar Ave. around 9:15 p.m., according to Examiner’s Regina Avalos.
The criminals’ first victim was a customer of the store who was walking to his car.
The 25-year-old man who did not wish to reveal his identity, told local media outlets that when he first saw about 100 to 125 African-American teens gathering at the parking lot he assumed that they were going to take part in a flash mob.
The individual who recently moved to Memphis, said that he was thrilled to see the event and pulled out his smartphone to film.
As he was filming one of the teens walked by and told him, “hey bro” and started hitting him.
The group of teenagers with too much time on their hands, were taking part in a trending internet game called “point them out, knock them out,” which was inspired by the “knockout game.”
The somewhat popular knockout game consists of knocking and beating up random strangers for the fun of it.
The man explained that he was viciously slapped, kicked and punched by the mob of teens.
The individual said that he was surprised that the mob thought they should slap him around because he is white. The victim did not disclose his ethnicity, but said that he is not Caucasian and added:
“Being new to the city, I don’t know where I can and where I can’t go. As I was starting to get my camera open, a guy popped around a car and said ‘hey bro’ and just started swinging at me. And I tried to put my hands up, another guy started rushing at me. I took off running backwards through the parking lot.”
The Kroger customer tried to escape from the beat down by running back to the store and hid in the fruit section where two male employees came to his aid.
The two teen Kroger workers were also brutalized by the mob. The young criminals assaulted the teens who are said to be 17 and 18 of age.
The pair was kicked by the violent teens who also smashed enormous Halloween pumpkins weighing over 20 pounds on their heads.
As the Memphis teens laid unconscious on the ground, the hooligans repeatedly kicked them in the head and continued to throw pumpkins at them. The teen workers were rescued by a store security who was able to chase the angry mob away.
The teens were taken to a nearby hospital and were rapidly released to their parents.
The first victim said the events were very troubling because the teens were laughing and mocking the two employees as they physically abused them in front of the store. The frustrated individual shared:
“It was nonsense violence. I can say that for sure. It seemed very unprovoked. They weren’t about anything, that it was fun for them. They were out having a good time. They were all smiling they were laughing.”
In a statement issued by the Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong, it was revealed that 10 teenagers and 1 adult who took part in the attack have been arrested.
A 16-year-old was charged with aggravated riot, and acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault. A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old have been charged with aggravated riot.
According to reports, the 15-year-old is the one in the lime green shirt who kicked the teens numerous times in the head.
The minor was recently arrested for illegally possessing a weapon and has been out of school for several months.
The boy’s mother was previously charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
This story has sparked a debate on race in America, some commentators want to hear what people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have to say on the matter. Voices with more moderate views believe that stupidity is to blame in this case.

The name of one member of the Memphis teen mob who savagely attacked three people on Saturday has been released by the the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
A 19-year-old man named Raheem Richardson whose mug shot appears above was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and aggravated riot.
A total of 11 teens have been charged thus fur, but their names have not be released due to the fact that they are minors.
Among them a 16-year-old who was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated riot, and acting in concert to wit aggravated assault.
Eight teenagers, from 14 to 17 years old, were charged with aggravated riot. A 15-year-old boy was arrested Sunday and also charged with aggravated riot.
In a press conference held by Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong, he revealed that two sets of parents did the responsible thing and turned their teens in after learning that they assaulted three people.
Police officers have detained several other teens for questioning. Armstrong also explained that prior to the attack, the group of 125 kids entered CiCi’s Pizza restaurant, which shares its parking lot with Kroger.
While at the eatery, the group of thugs fought with the manager who was forced to close an hour ahead of time.
Meanwhile one of the teen victims’ father is speaking out about the incident. Mark Sauser, dad of the 17-year-old Kroger clerk who was beaten by the mob said that he wept after watching the video.
He explained that his wife has not been able to look at the clip. His teen son is an honors student who is working part time to save money for college.
Sauser said that while he son is white and the attackers are black, it has more to do than race.
He blamed the teens’ behavior on the lack of family structure, absent fathers and mothers with no authority.
He wants the teens who injured his son to be trialed as adults and pay for what they did.
The teen is already back in school and has plans to return to work soon.
Assult? Riot? Looks more like attempted murder to me. If you think this is a game, lay down in the floor and let me kick you in the head for a while and see how much of game you think that is. In this video you can see the next waive of individuals who will wind up with life in prison or dead by some violent method because they have sense of purpose other than criminal activity. What disturbs me, (well, among other things), is how people who say this is racist, are treated more harshly than the victims by the press and public. If the roles were reversed, of course it would be racist, it would be a national tragedy, with the political parties of MSNBC, CNN and Fox covering how ALL “White” Americans are at fault.
