Megan Fox Low-carb Diet Credited For Post-Baby Body

Megan Fox credits a low-carb diet for getting back her hot body after giving birth to her second child Bodhi Ransom Green in February. Fox says that her weight loss secret is simple, reduce carbohydrates in her diet, for example she stopped eating bread.

Megan Fox is everywhere lately promoting her upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie that will be released on August 8. While meeting with the media, people could not help notice that the mother-of-two who welcomed a little boy earlier this year, looked great and was more or less back to her pre-pregnancy body.

Jesse Giddings from E! News met the 28-year-old actress on Thursday at Comic-Con in San Diego, he wanted to know what she did to lose the pregnancy weight. Fox explained that losing the pounds were harder this time around because she is now a little older. She had to fight to get back in shape while it was an easy process after giving birth to her first child Noah Shannon Green in September 2012.

Fox who has been married to “Anger Management” actor Brian Austin Green for four years said that she eliminated bread from her diet to get the result she expected. The actress added:

“It’s typical but I’m on that high-protein, low-carbohydrate, very low-sugar diet.”

A low-carbohydrate diet is an effective way to lose weight. It consists of the replacement of foods high in carbohydrates like bread, pasta and sugar by those that contain low carbs like vegetables. In Megan Fox’s case she is also adding meat which, is a good source of protein.
