Mayor Demeza Delhomme Arrested

Mayor Demeza Delhomme was arrested, for not obeying a judge’s order. Delhomme who is the mayor of Spring Valley, New York is currently in jail, for refusing to open the doors of a summer day camp. Mayor Delhomme who was feuding with the counselor of the the Kurtz Center, was said to be very rude with the judge who was more than happy to teach him a lesson.

Not too long ago, Asher Grossman, Emilia White and Vilair Fonvil who run the Kurtz Center summer camp located in Village sued mayor Demeza Delhomme after he forced them to close down and suspended a staff member.

The Kurtz Center, which had been opened to the public for 14 years, was shut because of a bitter feud between the youth director and the mayor.

Supreme Court Justice Gerald Loehr sided with Grossman, White and Fonvil after hearing the case and ordered Demeza Delhomme to reopen the camp.

Delhomme decided that he would open only the entrance door of the building and kept all the offices locked.

When Supreme Court Justice Loehr learned the Democrat failed to obey his the court order, he sent Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco to arrest him on contempt charges.

According to reports, one of the reasons why the justice was so eager to send the politician to the Rockland County Correctional Facility for few nights, was because of his attitude.

Mr Demeza Delhomme missed the first court date and arrived several hours late at the second one.

The day he did show up to court, he banged angrily on the wrong door. And when talking to Loehr and the three plaintiffs he was rude and dismissive.

Mayor Demeza Delhomme’s attorney is doing all he can to get his client out of jail.
