Mario Lopez’s one-night stand with Britney Spears, happened many many years ago and; now, he is spilling the beans in his new memoir.
Have you read Mario Lopez‘s new memoir Just Between Us? If you have not, well, maybe you should, because he shares many dirty secrets including that one-night stand, he had with “mega pop star” Britney Spears about 8 or 7 years ago.
While he can not really remember when or where it happened, he is certain that he slept with Britney Spears. In Just Between Us, the former Saved by the Bell star talked about his first marriage to Ali Landry whom he never loved, growing up in the hood of Chula Vista, California and how his two children with Courtney Mazza have changed his life.
Lopez was a guest on Ellen DeGeneres‘ show where he was quizzed on his one night of passion and love making with Spears. The Golden Girls guest-star said he is not the type to kiss and tell, and out of respect for his wife, he will not talk about the one-night stand that has become a hot topic. He went on to explain:
“She’s totally cool and she knows everything. But out of respect for her and out of respect for this person… you know, I’m a gentleman and I don’t like to drop names, so I don’t want to go there.”
Lopez and Spears are great friends, he has interviewed her many times on Extra and she even invited him on stage during opening night of her Vegas show residency, Britney: Piece of Me.
A source claimed that Mario Lopez’s one-night stand with Britney Spears took place in Las Vegas. Spears was divorced from Kevin Federline, while Lopez had ended his romance with Karina Smirnoff.
In the memoir Lopez confessed that he never loved Ali Landry whom he married in 2004 after 6 years of dating. The pair got a divorce two weeks after saying I do, when Landry learned that Lopez got drunk and slept with another woman at his bachelor party.
He also spoke about his childhood in the difficult neighborhood of Chula Vista – which some are blasting. People who knew Lopez as a child claimed that he fabricated some of “the hood was scary and I was poor story” to sell the book.
The 41-year-old star revealed in the book that his two children, Gia Francesca Lopez and Dominic Lopez, have changed his life for the better.
He is more conscious of his past mistakes and has decided to learn from them including that infamous one-night stand.
