Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Donald Trump Letter

Iran’s former leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, wrote a letter to Donald Trump where he praised him for disrupting the American political system.

It was not all praises for Mr. Trump, Ahmadinejad also called him out on his controversial immigration plan.

It is not known if Mr. Ahmadinejad was able to have the letter delivered to Mr. Trump.

The Persian country’s sixth president’s lengthy and confusing remarks, which were written in English and Farsi, were originally posted on his official website and later read on live television

In the open letter, the former head of Iran told the New York billionaire that he was right to challenge the system.

He said that just like him, the real estate mogul believes that the political system has been rigged.

According to Ahmadinejad, the voting system is not working for “the little people.” He wrote: “Your Excellency (Trump) has truthfully described the US political system and electoral structure as corrupt and anti-public.”

Ahmadinejad, a former engineer and teacher, congratulated Trump on becoming the 45th president of The United States and for putting an end to the corruption. That is where the praises ended.

The remainder of the written rant focused on the recent executive order which has been given the unofficial title of Muslim ban.

The immigration restriction affects seven countries that are predominantly Muslim including Iran.

The order bars refugees and other travelers from entering America.

Several lawsuits have led to the ban being halted by a federal judge, but Trump has promised to issue a new one.

Ahmadinejad said in his letter that the United States belonged to all nations and asked POTUS to respect the “diversity of nations and races.”

He went on to ask Trump to think of talents such as doctors, engineers, and professors he is preventing from traveling to America.

The leader of the Alliance of Builders of Islamic Iran pleaded with Trump to stop being arrogant like past American leaders and to stop meddling in the Middle East.

Ahmadinejad, who lead Iran from 2005 to 2013, concluded his letter by asking Trump to respect women.

It is believed that Ahmadinejad was talking about the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape where Trump can be heard telling Billy Bush that as a celebrity he can grab women by their private parts.
