Madonna Hacker Arrest: Israeli Hacker Arrested In Madonna’s New Songs Leak

The Madonna hacker arrest story is grabbing headlines. The hacker, who is responsible for the leak of several songs from Madonna’s forthcoming album, has been arrested in Israel. Police and the FBI have confirmed the arrest of the hacker, but have refused to reveal his identity only revealing that he is a 39-year-old Israeli.

Madonna hacker’s arrest took place in Israel on January 21. Israel police, the FBI and the country’s top criminal investigative organization called Lahav 433, worked together to track down and finally arrest the individual.

According to a statement issued by the Lahav 433, the hacker behind Madonna‘s leak is a 39-year-old Israeli male. Many Israeli websites are reporting that the hacker is a well-known man who took part in a reality show. The FBI issued a statement on the Madonna hacker arrest:

“The FBI has been working jointly with our counterparts in Israel to investigate the illegal acquisition and distribution of entertainment industry copyrighted material. As announced by Israeli authorities, an individual residing in Tel Aviv was arrested today in connection with this matter and the investigation continues.”

The hacker broke into and stole the content of the computers of several international stars in the past months. One of the computers that was hacked belonged to Guy Oseary, Madonna’s Israeli-born manager. The hacker stole the tracks “Beautiful Scars,” “Tragic Girl,” “Freedom,” “Iconic,” “Nothing Lasts Forever,” “Veni Vidi Vici,” and “Back That Up (Do It).”

The 6 tracks were set to appear on Madonna’s upcoming Rebel Heart. The man made a substantial amount of money by selling them online. Angered by the leak, Madonna took to the internet to vent out:

“This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demos, half of which won’t even make it on my album.”

The iconic star was forced to officially release the leaked songs on iTunes around the Christmas holidays. Despite the leak, Madonna will drop Rebel Heart on March 10 and will feature collaborators like Nicki Minaj, Nas, Chance The Rapper and Mike Tyson.
