LGBT Donna Campbell: Bill Dubbed ‘License to Discriminate’ Against LGBT People Making Noise In Texas

Donna Campbell’s LGBT discriminatory proposal is making headlines. Republican and Tea Party darling Donna Campbell from Texas is pushing a bill that would make it legal for businesses to deny services to and fire LGBT people or anyone they do not like for that matter.

LGBT Donna Campbell

The Donna Campbell LGBT fight has just begun. On Monday, Dr Donna Campbell introduced a proposal that has been dubbed a license to “discriminate” against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

The Texas State Senator’s bill would allow business owners to turn away or terminate employments of members of the LGBT community under the guise of religious freedom.

Campbell’s Senate Joint Resolution 10, if becomes law would also apply to government contractors. The controversial proposal reads in part:

“The government may not burden an individual’s or religious organization’s freedom of religion or right to act or refuse to act in a manner motivated by a sincerely held religious belief unless the government proves that the burden is in furtherance of a compelling governmental interest and is the least restrictive means of furthering that interest.”

The document goes on to explain the types of burdens:

“For purposes of this subsection, the term “burden” includes indirect burdens such as withholding benefits, assessing penalties, and denying access to facilities or programs.”

In 2012, Campbell introduced a nearly identical measure, but was quashed in committee. Some supporters and many of Donna Campbell’s opponents are baffled as to why she is determined to pass the legislation, because Texas already has a similar law in place.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act makes it legal for businesses to discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

Donna Campbell’s fight against LGBT people stems from the fact that like many conservatives, she believes there is a war raging in America that could “eradicate religious freedoms.”

  1. Texas state rep.Donna Campbell’s Bill Is a great Idea. This should become law nationally!. It posses sound nondiscriminatory principles. It is an all inclusive bill Zero bias. The only Bias is in the imagination of those against the bill.

  2. Wow! I do hope she realizes that this ‘burden’ would include not only LGBT but the nation as a whole in general. I don’t like people who are liars, adulterers, lusters, those who disrespect their parents, cuss; get where I’m going here. They are also against my religion. If you are a practicing Christian, meaning you follow the ten commandments, then you better not be hiring anyone that breaks them. You do not get to pick and choose what part of the bible you wish to use for your reason to discriminate. She is looking to punish those who do not fit her profiling of a decent human being. Nothing more, nothing less.

    1. I have to agree with your evaluation. It’s correct in my opinion. If you are going to play the religion card, than you have play the whole deck, not just the suit you want. I believe there is a war on religion, and it is going to the down fall of the country. However, right is right, and her bill can lead to one hell of a slippery slope.

    2. Um, then the opposite also holds true. Please open the prison cells and close the prisons ad hoc permanently; let the felons run free… after all, I wouldn’t want to be a hypocrite. See where _I_ am going here?!? I am FOR life; and I am AGAINST death! Therefore, abortion is a non-sequitor for me; of course it must be considered as murder! Who is speaking for the fetus (which is latin for “baby,” by the way). So, to abort a fetus is to abort a baby!

Our nation has been judged, is being judged, and will continue to be judged for the tens of millions of babies that have been murdered… all under the rouse of “the right to choose.” Which, for the record, is the ONLY time a liberal is in favor of ANYONE having legitimate “choice” on anything; outside of the fact that they haven’t considered the choice of the would-be aborted child!

      1. My sister had an abortion for two reasons; one, she had developed malignant cancer at the time, and two, that cancer threatened to kill the fetus. Even if the cancer didn’t, the chemo would have. There was literally a 100% chance that baby would have been stillborn.

  3. this woman looks as though she is a lesbian herself, I wish this really was a free country

  4. Why do you make a headline and story about lgbti but then turn around and make a video on something totally different..nonsense

    1. Yes. It’s about time we force religion on other people. I for one will not serve anyone who does not obey Deuteronomy 22:12: “Make tassels on the four corners of the cloak you wear.”

I shall stone anyone not wearing tassels!!!

      1. I shall also stone anyone wearing blended fabrics, Leviticus 19:19, anyone with short hair, Leviticus 19:27, anyone owning a garden of mixed vegetables, Leviticus 19:19, and those who DARE to work on Sundays! Leviticus 23:3, which I’m betting she’s guilty in several of these. There are hundreds of biblical rules no one follows anymore, partly because some of them, such as sacrificing large hoofed beasts, is now illegal (and ironically often associated with cultists). So why is THIS the one and only rule that shall not be broken?

  5. the woman should be detained for reasons only known to us
then she would not be free to spred her sh_t around

  6. I applaud Senator Campbell battle for religious freedom as I want to (Implement God’s Word as the standard of life I “choose” to follow.) The LGBT society desires choice, but forces me and others who take a stand for God, to adhere to their standards. Enough is enough. Let God be true and all men liars…Romans 3:4

    1. I agree with senator campbell thank god that we still have true christians who want to stand up for gods word and christians who want to live and obey gods laws. the times have changed but gods word in the bible have not changed.not only are the gays trying to force this sin down godly christian people thoats. ,they are also trying to force this sin act down gods thoat.who care what they do but them? god has addressed this issue in the past world and he will address this sin in this world ,which by the way god own everyone and everything.this is total rejection of gods word and law with no fear.

      1. People who use the bible to defend their ridiculous beliefs and bigotry are a disgrace to Christianity. Have any of you actually read the bible word per word cover to cover? I’m not talking about those foolish books of psalms and sayings or what snippets are spoken in church but the actual bible. Don’t even pull the bible says this until you read the bible in its entirety and actually understand it, mot make up what you want to be said. Then you will also know that the bible has its flaws.
Second this country was founded on the belief that all men are created equal and that the church and state shall be separate. Half the problem in this country is that we have allowed too much religion to mix with the state. As a Christian I can honestly say that we Christians are the biggest culprit of this. To say that this absurd proposal is a defense of religious freedom is also a disgrace.
Matthew 7:1-5: Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

      2. I’m betting you also cut your hair, wear blended fabrics, possibly work on Sundays, carelessly make oaths on occasion, deny finding lost property, tear your clothes, don’t wear four tassels, drink alcohol in holy places (no seriously), went to church within 33/66 days of giving birth to a girl/boy (if you’re a woman and a mom), lie, bear grudges, sit in the presence of elderly, or maybe even consulting your horoscope. So with these and hundreds of other laws we don’t really pay attention to anymore, why focus on this One. Single. Law? Huh?

    2. AMEN! I AM TIRED OF LGBT COMMUNITY FORCING THEIR VIEWS, WHICH: BY THE WASY IS A “BEDROOM HABIT OF CHOICE”. “NO, YOU WERE NOT BORN THAT WAY”! THEY CHOOSED… TO LIVE THAT LIFE STYLE! THEY SHOULDN’T BE GIVEN SPECIAL TREATMENT.

      1. Actually, you ARE born that way. If you could choose without being revolted if you’re born straight, I would have probably not cringed at the thought of my lesbian friend asking me out.

  7. The guiding lights of my moral compass which include biblical reference to homosexuality and the acting out of homosexual sexual behavior is that
“Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord”

However we are inundated with media support for what is now the profession of ‘sins as apposed to the confessions of sins’

But not to worry history has shown that the Gay Community over millenia have a way of exterminating themselves. Things aren’t always what they seem.

    1. There are hundreds of rules we don’t obey anymore. This one is literally a grain of sand in the number of rules even devout Christians don’t follow.

  8. This woman needs to go find a rock to live on. Who made here god. And What happened to the usa being the land of the free. Stop the discrimination and get on with your life. and if she wants to talk religion, her own bible says judge not least you be judge, and let he with out sin throw the first stone.

  9. There is most certainly a war on Christianity in America (and, really, across a whole lot of countries, including the war on Christianity among Islam). NO GOVERNMENT should have the right to force a Christian to violate their constitutionally guaranteed religious rights. Period. No “ifs, ands, or buts.”

  10. Just like mean ol dog with a bone, unwilling to give it up or let it go! Why such ferocity? Many times it stems from a persons own self loathing and hatred of having homosexual feelings of their own. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if she’s a deep in the closet lesbian, fighting her own inclinations. Just too bad everyone else is meant to suffer the result, but then that goes to her other fear of people losing their religious rights. You see if she can suppress the rights of others then she’s aware that her own are in jeopardy, in her way of thinking she’s got to get a jump and stay ahead of the opposition. Too bad this ridiculously closeted woman can’t just be who the creator meant her to really be, instead of a pent up, mean spirited homophobe.

  11. I for one am in agreement. The LGBT stuff is being forced down peoples throats. Especially in the business world. If a business owener refuses services to some because of their religious beliefs, then that belief and that right should be protected at all costs. Religious beliefs and convictions are being attacked on all fronts in this country, and it won’t end until those rights are abolished and eradicated. We have to make concessions for everybody, but when it comes to Christians, it’s like, No, you’re irrelevant, you don’t have any rights because of your beliefs. Well I for one will stand up for anyone who stands up for religious liberty, and guess what, I’m gay.

      1. Donna Champbell has more guts then anyone in the texas legislature i support her bill 100% & hope she continues to bring it to the floor every chance she gets, what a sick bunch of people these lgbt promoters are!!!!

  12. So, why shouldn’t a business be allowed to deny services or fire somebody for any reason? Patrons and employees can choose to go to that business or not, but business owners are “stuck” with somebody they don’t want around? This is just more horsefeather socialism (actually, more like fascism-business “controlled” by the State.) Who the heck are these people anyhow? This is worse than the Soviet Union.

    1. “but business owners are “stuck” with somebody they don’t want around”.. Like a black person? or maybe a Jew?

  13. What she is proposing is against the constitution. Who cares who someones sexual preferences are? this is the 21’st century. Stop getting guidence out of a book. This law will only increase crime, and there will be more strikes and riots. Vote against this bill!!!

  14. Another Republican JACK ASS looking to make a name for herself in the LGBT Community. She’s going to lose the fight sooner then she thinks.

  15. Finally, someone with enough courage to stand up against the LGBT community. Maybe there are a some of us left in this country that actually think that it’s uncomfortable to see a man kissing a man or a woman kissing a woman in public, in front of their grandchildren. Why are the American people being forced to have these people all up in their faces. They are pushing ALL society to approve of what they do and it’s just not going to happen. They are a small minority of the American population that have pushed some of us to the limits! Go be gay, by lesbian, be transgender, be proud, but don’t expect us all to jump on your boat. By the way, when was the last time a heterosexual people had – Heterosexual Day at Disney World, or Heterosexual Day is Fantasy Fest in the Keys? Never happen, we would be discriminating and have all kinds of law suits filed. IT’S TIME TO TAKE AMERICA BACK.

    1. Every day is Heterosexual Day at Disney World, so there is no reason for a special day. You just don’t get it Maggie

      1. No. It’s not heterosexual day everyday at Disney. On any give day gays are there enjoying themselves like everyone else, as they should. There is no special day/week set aside where heterosexuals are catered to, or have heterosexual pride day, a special parade in their honor or wear clothing stating they are straight. We don’t need to state our sexuality or expect to be given any special treatment because of it. Why can’t the gay/lesbian community do the same? The G/LC doesn’t want to be treated equally, you want to force everyone to bow down to you. Why can’t you just live with everyone else? People don’t need to know what you do behind closed doors. By the way Disney is one of the biggest employers for people with alternative lifestyles.

    2. All kids see is mutual affection for one another. You’re both either straight or gay. I’m straight, but I have gay friends and coworkers. My kids are perfectly comfortable around them and my daughter’s boyfriend is best friends with one of them.

  16. Another southern bigot. Cant be a douche bag to people she doesn’t like, so SHE s the victim. I wish they would secede and get it over with. They clearly do not support the ideals of the constitution and do not like the rest of the country. We would be better off without them in the union.

  17. Eh, what a surprise. You humans turn against each other, because of sexuality (but there is no such thing as sexuality).

  18. This woman is a hatemonger using religious freedom as an excuse to subjugate a minority.
I think she is a closet lesbian and she’s lashing out because of her own self loathing.

    1. Wouldn’t it be a scream if the legislation passed, and the hospital she works for said, “sorry, we can’t have you here…you look like a lesbian.”

  19. I do not think this is a LGBT discussion except that LGBT wants to force acceptance of their beliefs and practices on the Christians and is nothing else. The legislation is to protect those who believe in Christianity and nothing more. “The LGBT stance is to force those people to support the LOGBT even though they do not agree with their life style. It is the classic argument that we are not able to live in any society that disagrees with my point of view. The LGBT position is what the Christians held before. Most gay rights are well extended if not overextended. Now it is the other side fighting for survival. When will we learn to let one live how they want as their choice without trying to force the other legally to believe the same way. Hate is hate no matter what your position is.

    1. We’re not forcing anyone to do anything. The only thing that we’ve always ever wanted was to be accepted and not to be discriminated against. Your argument is invalid. “When will we learn to let one live how they want as their choice” right there, Re-read what you stated. Why are you so concerned about discrimination if you just want to live your own life?

  20. your pro-life in Texas but pro death penalty? This doctor should be the poster child for hypocrisy. she talks about religious freedom while imposing her beliefs on others? She cant understand why or how things are not all agreed on and that there are divisions within then how did she get through medical school? Did she not take any psychology or sociology classes? Is she anti LGBT out of fear that she is missing out on something or threatened by something??? I’m baffled as to why and how she became so filled with hate disguised as a good christian physician Texan…stop I just answered my own question its because she is good christian physician Texan.
wack jobs all come from Texass

  21. The shock and awe fear tactics that these mental midgets are engaging in is at the core of what is wrong with this country today. People trying to force their ideology on everyone needs to be stopped. Even the fact that TX has a similar law on the books is disgusting and I’m neither gay, bi lesbian or transgender. I think TX is the most backwards state in our nation. Plus it’s the armpit of the US it stinks so bad no amount of deodorant can stop the stench permeating the country.

  22. This is so horrible, how did we elect this person? I wonder if she refuses to treat LGBT patients. This is just another reason why people are so turned off by religion….these people call themselves Christians.

    1. The thing I find funniest is that they choose this ONE biblical law to follow and I can guarantee they ignore hundreds of others supposedly laid down as concrete law.

  23. How does this type of law follow the Bible’s teaching of “love thy neighbor” Funny thing, people use religion to explain WHY they are allowed to discriminate against groups, however Jesus never discriminated. He stood up for the downtrodden and abused, the meek and mild, he rose against crazies of his time to support those who he did not always agree with and loved them NO MATTER what the issue was.

Crazy part, I’m a gay christian and probably know the bible and practices of Jesus better then this bigoted Sunday church “bench warmer”.

  24. Resolution 10 is not practical. There are many closeted homosexuals. How can business-owners know? Isn’t all money green, anyway? Does Campbell not know this?

  25. I think the Far Right are a vicious lot that have sociopathic needs to hurt other human beings so they can feel powerful. God made LGBT’s and if they truly held to God’s belief’s, they would acknowledge that God wanted them here for his own reasons. The Bible is a compilation of letters written by various human authors two generations after the death of Christ. What is in the Bible is a heavily edited and garbled versions of the teachings of Christ. This is not about the word of God. This is about ignorant people who hide behind the revisionist word of God for political gain and individual White male and pathetic White female power. Where are the books of Daniel and Sophia?

  26. Passing this bill would be like turning back the clock to the early 60’s and to me that is not a good thing. We, Americans, are willing and ready to “jump” into the world’s business when they discriminate any group of people, but evidently, Ms. Campbell thinks it’s ok if America (Texas) does it! Things/people like this is bad for our country and the world.

  27. While I agree with Dr. Campbell on the principle that businesses should be left to determine for themselves who they serve, hire, terminate, etc. those individuals in the health care services work to a different kind of business and human ethics so refusing health services to anyone be it, because of their sexual preference, political affiliations, age or whatever seems contrary to the Hypocratic oath she took.

  28. I think Donna and all the religious conservatives are going to hasten the demise of the church in America. Atheists and Humanists don’t need to do or say anything, people like her will do all the work for us.

  29. This issue is mute. My sister came out in the 1970’s, I was devastated. I accepted it but did everything I could to get her in counseling, to try dating men, etc. None of it helped and since then I have grown to accept her as who she is because God made her that way.
To use religion to discriminate is borderline satanic in my view. Do I wish I could snap my fingers and everyone would turn straight, maybe and maybe not, I am not God—-he made everyone how they are for a reason and I am not going to try and change his will.
Campbell and my chosen party (R’s) need to get over it. I am an R but I am looking for an alternative than compete with these two grand old parties. I’d be Liberatarian if there was a chance to elect someone.
This topic is just another reason, I’d like to see everyone change their party now to Independent and keep it that way until the parties start working on important issues.

  30. I support Donna Campbell completely! It is about time someone stands up to the LGBT and abortion!

  31. So many folks really have no idea about religious freedom and its limitations. The religious freedom the courts supported and affirmed is the right to practice religion in a place of worship without government impediment. However, once in a public setting, a business, doctor’s office, etc, religious freedom cannot be extended into those realms. So, for example, denying service to anyone is a direct violation of their rights as an individual in this country. The law and Constitution are very clear about this fact.

Ms. Campbell is conflating religious freedom and oppression. We fought a revolution against the idea that one group can oppress another; we promoted liberty for all human beings. It’s taken us a while, but we are at a point in which liberty extends to all citizens.

LGBT, African American, women’s rights, and etc are all protected under the Constitution. The right to practice your religion in a place of worship is protected. The right to discriminate against people is not written into the Constitution. So, Tea Party folks, maybe go back and read that document and the law that emerged from it.

    1. Thomas, what a voice of reason you are. How refreshing to have this explained so matter-of-factly. Of course, those who need to understand it will never get it.

I am cutting and pasting portions of your letter to add to my Facebook status that I posted earlier (which I expect some blow back from, as I am deep in the heart of Texas Tea Party country). I hope that’s okay. Because I couldn’t have said it better or more succinctly.

Actually stole this from an earlier Facebook quote, when Arizona was trying this. I kinda like it. What do you think? “Dear Texas: We’ve had this conversation. You are not allowed to decide who sits at your lunch counter or shops in your store. If they are wearing shirts and shoes, they get service (I added that part) Signed – America.

      Thank you again.

  32. This bill or proposal has no chance of been enacted into state law, just no way!! Federal laws prohibiting such discrimination will immediately deflect such laws.

Although, I personally do not subscribe to such alternate ‘lifestyles it is not for me to judge or dictate their ‘lifestyles’.UnionYankee6165

  33. She is right on track. There has been a significant drive force people who may not agree with the LGBT especially Christians to either bend to their way, face legal prosecutions, go through sensitivity training or have to shut down their business. I don’t see the LGBT being sensitive to anyone except to their own agenda. Basically if you take a stand and live according to your religious beliefs you may become a target. Take the couple at the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel under current prosecution for declining to perform a same sex union because of their religious beliefs. This has happened with florists, bakers, printers and photographers just to name a few. Those from the LGBT had been informed that there were similar businesses who could perform these tasks for them but they refused and began to sue or harass the owners. Some have been forced out of business. I hear a lot about tolerance from the LGBT but I don’t it in return. It seems very one sided to me. Our religious freedom is at stake and we must push back otherwise we will loose what is the main reason the country was established. Religious Freedom and Liberty. Over the past 4-5 decades the our great country has been eroded because our we have been letting people pull out the threads of common sense and morality. The fabric that made this country strong is now becoming thread-bare. As Christians we don’t deny people the right to live their life, but we will not be denied the right to live our life either. With the huge push to be politically correct we are dividing people more each day instead of finding common ground to live with each other in respect and peace. I will not give up my religious freedom for political correctness.

  34. Personally, if I wanted to live in a sectarian society I would move to the Middle East where they never seem to stop fighting. We already have “at will” employment laws that allow for termination of employees for any reason. If this bill passes, does it also mean that M.D.s like Dr. Campbell can choose to not treat individuals on religious grounds? Has anybody thought of how much segregation this can imply? Maybe a person isn’t the right religion? This wreaks of Jim Crow like bias in disguise. Separate from me, but equal somewhere else.

  35. Hell yeah!! Go for it. Then Businesses can say you’re black we don’t want your business or you’re Mexican, we don’t serve your kind. Oh white people, sorry don’t need your business either. Wait let’s not stop there. You’re handicapped, sorry we need the extra parking space for people that can walk and we don’t really want to make our stores accessible to your kind.
Come on people get a grip. Why don’t we just make it a federal law that if you’re not a CHRISTIAN than you should be executed, oh wait we are supposed to have freedom of Religion in this country. And sorry to bust your bubble people but religion does not necessarily equate to CHRISTIANITY. Look at a dictionary sometime and look up the word religion, and while you’re at it look up the definition of Cult and occult. Kind of eerie how close they all relate to Christianity.

  36. When did this extremist or any other brand of Christianity…sorry I mean “religion” become part of our government structure? Having a belief in a Higher Power is not exclusively that of so called Christians who want to inflict their beliefs on the whole of U.S. society. Treating others as you want to be treated is my belief and it does not matter where I choose to practice my faith. We are free to be Christian, Muslin, Jewish, Buddhist or of any other faith so long as it does not infringe on the rights of others who have varying beliefs and an equal right to be able to practice their faith. Isn’t that the same line of reasoning that prompted our founding fathers to flee to this continent to begin with?

  37. By “religious freedoms,” I assume that Ms. Davis is referring to HER religion and not others, which accept the LGBT members. Why, in 2014, are we allowing a STATE RELIGION to influence government policy?

  38. And this from a doctor…who “cares” for people.

I wonder if she inquires about a persons orientation before she provides aid. And if she doesn’t like what she hears, she delegates to someone else.

    Pathetic…really.

  39. Here is the thing. I am so glad that everyone is not saying that she being a bigot or intolerant. I believe you can love whoever you want but Marriage is sacred and giving someone a right because they believe that is o.k. when I believe it is not o.k. seems wrong to me. I also don’t understand how a married couple can support this and also angrily defend it? this is my #1 hot button topic. I believe that marriage is between yourself and God and you can’t be married to the same sex and have God bless it

    1. First of all, the is no god, so that should end the discussion right now.

I’m so tired of Christians trying to shove their copper age religious agendas on the rest of us.

      1. YOU SAY THEIR IS NO GOD: THEN HOW DO YOU EXPALIN, THE CREATION OF
THE MOUNTAINS: ALL THEIR BEAUTY THEY POSSED, THE BODIES OF WATER: WITH ALL THE MILLIONS OF LIFE FORM IN IT! THE PLANETS ,HOW EACH HELPS THE OTHER!

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS … … WHAT DEAD ROCK DO YOU CRAWL FROM OUT OF!

THEIR IS NO MAN, NO BEING OTHER THAN THE ALMIGHT “GOD” , WHO CREATED THE VERY EXISTENCE OF LIFE AS MAN, WOMAN, CHILD, AND ANIMAL KNOWS!

PLEASE, SATAN: HAS NO INTELLIGENCE ,,, , HE SAT ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE: IT WAS GOD THAT GAVE HIM POWERS : HE THOUGHT HE WAS BETTER THAN HIM & JESUS!

WHEN YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE OR SOMETHING CAN OUT DO THE CREATION THAT EXIST: PLEASE SHOW IT! OR BETTER YET, PLEASE FIND ME SOMEONE THAT CAN BREATHE ISSUE A SOUL & SPIRIT FOR A HUMAN PERSON OR ANIMAL TO EXIST!

  40. And this woman is a doctor? Would she treat a gay or lesbian person in her trauma unit? I’d hate to be the one to find out.

    1. THAT IS YOUR OPINION: I RATHER HAVE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO TRY TOO FOLLOW: LAWS THAT WORK FOR “GOOD MORALS”, THAN TO WORSHIP & FOLLOW LAWS THAT ARE IMMORAL .. . LEADS TO SELF DESTRUCTION!

  41. For someone to want to push for such a childish law, It’s incredible. How can a person distinguish if one is gay or not? If I wear a mans shirt, does that mean I’m gay? No. It means I like to wear baggy shirts sometimes. If she’s pushing for a religious based law, she should realize that god also said “Love one another.” Yet she’s trying to discriminate against a person. We can not simply help who we fall in love with. When you truly love someone, do you love them for their hair, eyes, teeth, how tall they are, what color their hair or eyes is, or even if you like the same things. No. When you get to the point of true love, you realize that you’re not in love with the Physical appearance of that one person, you’re in love with them due to their personality. Love someone truly for them being able to be them, not because of gender. I say no to the Law!

  42. THE LGBT COMMUNITY SHOULD NEVER HAD THE SAME RIGHTS OR EVEN COMPARE THEIR LIFE STYLE: THE SAME AS A HETROSEXAUAL COUPLES .. . . . WHEN THEY WANT TOO ADOPT A CHILD OR FOSTER CARE A CHILD! YOU ARE FORCING THOSE CHILDREN TOO ACCEPT A HOMOSEXUAL LIFE STYLE! WHERE IS THE FREEDOM!

IF THEY WANT TO HAVE CHILDREN: USE YOUR OWN GENTICS TO REPRODUCE. . .. THEN YOU CAN HAVE THE SAY IN YOUR OWN CHILD’S LIFE!

BUT, TOO TAKE AWAY A CHID’S RIGHT TO HAVE A “SAY/CHOICE”, HAVE NO VOICE IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL: THEIR SHOULD BE “LAWS, THAT GOVERN THE CHILDREN’S PROTECTION: WHO ARE BORN INTO AN UNFORTUNATE EVENT: PROVERY OR DRUGS … ANY ADDITICION! THEY ARE ALREADY HAVING TO COPE WITH LIFE: THEY DEFINITELY DON’T NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS BATTLING THEIR OWN DEMONS … TO PUT THEIR TWISTED BELIEF’S ON THEM!

WHEN YOU ARE AN ADULT YOU HAVE FULL CHOICE : GOD BLESS AND KNOCK YOUR SELF OUT! DON’T FORCE INNOCENT CHILDREN INTO A BEHAVIOR THAT HAS NEVER BEEN “NORMAL”!

  43. the Bible oh the good book. like hell. folks go to old testament numbers chapter 31 . Moses had men & women & all male children slaughter’d & the 32,000 young virgins raped by the troops as a reward for the killing. King Herod may have only had around 20 male children killed. BUT YOU NEVER HEAR THEM SAY THAT MOSE”S WAS THE REAL MONSTER BECAUSE WITHOUT HIM WHAT DO THEY HAVE ? Moses’s had around 30,000 boys killed babies & toddlers & teen’s .number is based on the 32,000 plus girls the sisters. Moses”s was a monster but they don’t want you to know that. Moses always used God to do these things but the truth is he just wanted to loot. Adam & Eve a fairy tale. notice when the one son Cain grew up he left to find a wife in another village. By the way i believe in God but these republicans are evil. you think this bag won’t be in on taking poor peoples children for sweat shops & sex trade ? oh she will she is a damn dog & i do not mean to degrade the four legged kind.

  44. In a “Free Society”, the individual has a right to be what ever they want to be; to believe what they want to believe; to speak what they want to say, as long as it does not infringe upon or harm the rights of others. Every person has the right to pursue their religion, their beliefs, their sexual orientation, but in those pursuits, they can not infringe on the rights of others.

Too often the word “pursuit” is forgotten or is interpreted as “must be granted”. For example, why should a person who is gay, infringe on the rights of a small business owner who believes that a gay life-style is immoral – why would you want to force that person to hire you? You would both be miserable.

Personally, I don’t care one way or the other whether an employee is gay or not, as long as they can do the job as expected … but I do have some “deal breakers”. For example, I wouldn’t hire a person that perpetually “smells bad” – whether they are hygienically challenged or insist on using a perfume that I find offensive to my nose. What about a person who constantly uses vulgar language and I find that objectionable. It would be psychological torment for me to have that person work at my side. They won’t be hired or work for me very long. As a person who has pored my life savings into a business and have worked 12-14 hours per day to build, why should I be forced to be subjected to physical or mental torment. You see, I have rights too. Just because you have rights to be gay, to smell bad, to use vulgar language, … why should one person be able to infringe on rights, beliefs, and pursuits of another … why should one person be able to impose their will on another – No one has that right regardless of on what side of the issue they stand.

  45. Welcome back America!!!! You are lost, now you are going back to your senses. You are doing right….let us fight for our freedom….we must not be dictated upon by these few rich LGBT who finances the media and advertisement showing that the citizens are happy about the legalization of same sex marriage….many citizens are only silent and cannot help but pray that such law will eventually overturn.
