Kimberly A. Jacobs claimed that she tried to kill her mother because she wanted some peace and quiet. This week, York County Court Judge Maria Musti Cook sentenced Kimberly A. Jacobs to up to two years in prison for attempting to murder her mother, Lenore Jacobs.

According to officers from the Northern York County Regional Police Department, on September 5, 2014 at 7:45 a.m., Kimberly A. Jacobs called 911 and confessed to beating her mom, Lenore Jacobs, with a frying pan and a hammer.

Jacobs explained to the cops that she was tired of taking care of her mother, who was suffering from numerous health issues, so she came up with a plan to kill her. She thought that by hitting Lenore Jacobs once in the head with the pan she would be dead.

But when she discovered that the pan was too light, she banged it on her mother’s head over 20 times. Upon realizing that the frying pan would not do the job, she grabbed a four-pound hammer and started hitting the elderly woman.

Lenore Jacobs, who was bleeding heavily and suffered skull fractures, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Mrs Jacobs told the police:

“My daughter was trying to kill me because I was crying. She just kept hitting me.”

During the investigation, Kimberly A. Jacobs made the shocking confession, she was planning to kill her mother and her father, William Jacobs. Kimberly A. Jacobs said that her father used to help her care for her mother, but when he fell sick, the workload became unbearable.

So, she hatched a plan to kill her parents, then take medication to kill herself. Kimberly A. Jacobs had decided to kill her mother first, then kill her father, who does not hear well and was asleep during the attack. She told cops that she wanted to get rid of her parents because:

“I just wanted peace and quiet for once.”

Appearing in court, Jacobs pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. She was originally charged with attempted murder along with another aggravated assault charge and one count of simple assault, those charges were dismissed.

Kimberly A. Jacobs has been sentenced to up to two years in prison, two years probation, must undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any prescribed treatment. Jacobs has 161 days of credit toward her sentence.

This bitch needs to suffer just like her parents did!!

  2. Rick says:

And how is attempted murder in this case simply dropped? She admitted to having a plan to kill them. That’s premeditated. Mental illness or not, it seems like the attempted murder charge should stick. Something isn’t right here, beyond the obvious nature of the crime itself.

This is such a tragic story, but yet, not surprising. There are a lot of young people out there taking care of their parents because our country does not provide affordable care for the elderly. That in and of itself is a crime. I’m not saying killing is the answer, but when your alone and no one is willing to help you regardless of the reason, sometimes you just see no hope. She was at her wits end, my heart goes out to them all. Go ahead folks say what you need to say. But, until you walked in someone elses shoes. Don’t judge!

TWO YEARS????????????? That sow should be in prison for 35 years at least. She almost killed her own mother.
