Khloe Fireworks, no, Khloe Kardashian did not change her last name to fireworks, but she did more or less win a $7,500 lawsuit filed by her neighbor over a noisy fireworks show. Kardashian won by simply not showing to court.
Khloe Kardashian‘s fireworks lawsuit has been dismissed, and she did not even have to come to court like Charlie Sheen would say – Kardashian is winning.
Back in August, Kris Jenner and Kardashian organized a lavish 26th birthday party for James Harden. Harden, who plays for the Houston Rockets, and has been dating Miss Kardashian on and off for over a year now.
The event took place on a stunning yacht on the Marina Del Rey, and a long list of famous names were in attendance including Kanye West and the entire Kardashian clan. The guests dined on exquisite cuisine, drank the best wines and to conclude the soirée; Miss Kardashian organized a display of fireworks a la 4th of July that lasted over 30 minutes.
While the skies over the marina were lighting up with the fireworks, Twitter was on fire with people living in the area complaining of the noise and disturbance. On person wrote:
“Fireworks in August? Really thank you Khloe for disturbing my peace.”
Another stated:
“To whomever planned fireworks at midnight on a Tues thank u. Sincerely parents of 2 children who just woke up thinking we were being shelled.”
After the fireworks, Marina Del Rey resident James Ferguson decided to take his complaint a step further by suing Kardashian. Ferguson claimed that the event turned his life upside down, and it traumatized his dog. Moreover, he asked the judge for $7,500 in damages. According to TMZ, the judge dismissed the case, and Kardashian did not even have to show up.
So, how did Kardashian manage to win her fireworks lawsuit without even going to court? The star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians insisted that she is not above the law, she just respects it. She stated that everything had been done according to the rules, and she insisted all the necessary permits for the soirée had been issued..
She even warned the Coast Guard ahead of the August 26 event, they, in turn, gave the Sheriff’s Department a heads up before the festivities kicked off, according to to TMZ. She revealed:
“I got all the permits. Someone couldn’t release those fireworks if you didn’t get [one]. The company’s licenses would’ve been revoked, so of course I got everything I had to do to do so. No one would just take that risk.”
