Keyshia Cole’s new “She” music video premiered on Friday. It’s quite hot and features a lesbian-themed storyline with a twist. Cole states that the girl-on-girl interaction in the clip, for the song that was produced by DJ Mustard, is not really what people think.

Keyshia Cole new video for “She” is getting some attention. After spending the last few months, talking about her divorce from NBA player Daniel Gibson, Cole seems ready to start a new chapter in her career and in her personal life.

At least that’s the impression left by her music video for the single “She.” In the provocative visuals, the R&B diva wearing lingerie puts on a sexy show for another woman.

When “She” was released as a single in June, most people assumed after being cheated on by the father of her child Boobie, she was ready to try something different. They thought that the tough-talking singer was ready to explore her sexuality and come out as a bisexual.

As it turned out, all those assumptions about the song were wrong. Cole revealed this week, that “She” is indeed about exploring her sexuality but not with another lady but herself. After a messy separation, the “Enough of No Love” artist felt lonely but was not ready to date right away, so she did the next best thing, spend some nice sexy time with herself.

In clear, “She” is about self-love or masturbation as the cool kids would put it. All of this explains why, the other woman in the video is just a more masculine version of Cole.

“She” is the third single, taken from the Oakland diva’s upcoming sixth studio album Point of No Return that will be out later this year. Cole worked with rappers Future, 2 Chainz, Wale, singers R. Kelly and August Alsina on the project that is said to be her last on the label Interscope.
