Keshia Knight Pulliam, aka Rudy Huxtable, and Edgerton “Ed” Hartwell are engaged to be married. Miss Knight Pulliam made the announcement on New Year’s Eve via Instagram with a sweet picture that revealed her massive ring as she kissed her future husband.
Keshia Knight Pulliam announced she is engaged just days after explaining to her fans that she is not pregnant. After a complicated 2015, Pulliam rang in 2016 in the perfect way – by getting engaged to her boyfriend, Edgerton “Ed” Hartwell.
On January 1st, the former Cosby Show actress took to Instagram to wish her followers a Happy New Year and used the occasion to break the news. Miss Pulliam, 36, shared a cute picture of herself locking lips with the former NFL star and conveniently showing the world her stunning engagement ring, which appears to be a white gold diamond-accented band featuring a center stone an a halo of small white diamonds.
She used the caption portion to reveal that she is eager to spend the rest of her life with Hartwell, and added:
“Happy to spend not only my new year but my life with this guy!!! #BlessedBeyondMeasure.”
The What About Your Friends: Weekend Getaway and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court actress, who is known for her playful side also posted a snapshot where she is wearing a wrestling belt, flexing her muscles and displaying her ring. The future Mrs. Edgerton Hartwell wrote:
“Happy New Year!!! The champ is here!!! Lol… So grateful for family.”
Keshia Knight Pulliam’s fiancé played with the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Oakland Raiders, and Las Vegas Locomotives, but it appears that he would have loved to be a part-time wrestler. Hartwell, 37, was married to Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Lisa Wu from 2005 to 2011, and they have a son together. This will be the first wedding for Pulliam.
She tried as hard as she could, but in 2015, Knight Pulliam like the rest of the former cast members of the Cosby Show was dragged in Bill Cosby‘s sex scandal where he is accused of drugging and raping over 50 women. After being repeatedly asked to comment on Cosby’s drama, she said:
“just not the man I know.”
She appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and was fired in episode 1 after refusing to call Cosby as part of a challenge. Known for playing the adorable Rudy Huxtable between 1984 (when she was 4) and 1992 and being the youngest performer ever nominated for an Emmy for best supporting actress for her role, Pulliam more recently starred in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and the movie Will to Love with Marques Houston and Draya Michele.
