Kendall and Kylie Jenner are safe and sound after being attacked by an egg/tomato thrower, who did not like their fashion sense. The woman, who bombarded the Jenner sisters with eggs at an Australian mall, has been arrested.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner are moving forward with their Australian promotional tour after being egged by a crazed woman. On Tuesday, thousands of screaming fans flooded to the Parramatta mall in Sydney, Australia to see Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, who were launching their clothing collection for the brand Forever New.
One person, who may have had an overdose of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, decided to throw eggs at the sisters. According to witnesses, a young woman standing on the second floor of the mall tossed several eggs and tomatoes at Kendall Jenner, 20, and 18-year-old Kylie Jenner, but missed.
While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars and their expensive minidresses and nude shoes were spared, the adoring fans standing nearby were hit with eggs and tomatoes – no news if the fashionistas and models will give the “egging victims” free makeovers for the trouble.
The suspect, a 25-year-old woman, was arrested and booked for assault after she spat on a police officer. A spokesperson for the New South Wales police said:
“Following an incident at a shopping center in Parramatta around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, a 25 year old woman from Punchbowl was arrested and taken to the Parramatta police station. She was charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer (she assaulted three police officers in total). The police officers were trying to arrest her and she resisted. The woman was also charged with behaving in an offense manner.”
The egg thrower has since been released from police custody but will have her day in court on December 14. The rest of the event went off without any incident, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner had a very successfully launch and autograph signing session.
Via Twitter, the youngest Jenner commented on the alleged drama, saying:
