Katie Couric’s Honeymoon Isn’t Over, 4 Months After Wedding

Katie Couric is enjoying her honeymoon, four months after getting married. The reporter and John Molner had a lavish wedding in New York on June 21st.

During a brief interview with PEOPLE magazine, Katie Couric was more than happy to share that she is still enjoying her honeymoon with new husband, John Molner who is a financier.

Couric and Molner had a small and elegant wedding ceremony in East Hampton, New York on June 21st. The duo also got engaged in East Hampton few months prior. The bride wore a stunning gown designed by Carmen Marc Valvo, while the groom sported an elegant blue suit.

Molner gifted his wife with a beautiful wedding band set with 2 carats of pavé diamonds by jeweler, Jeffrey Rackover. Couric’s daughters, Ellie and Carrie along with Molner’s children, Allie and Henry attended the lavish event.

Last month, the reporter with her husband by her side attended This Is Your Life: The 16th Annual Tomorrow is Tonight New York Gala, where she spoke about the joy of being married again. Mrs Couric who was beaming with happiness told the publication that her husband is very funny and she enjoys his company. The 57-year-old star, stated:

“Married life is great. It’s fun. He’s really funny and really fun to be with. I love being with him.”

The veteran television journalist dated the businessman for over two years before getting married. Molner’s ex-girlfriend, Jessica Hsu, 29, has been telling anyone who will listen that he was cheating with Couric while they were together.

This backstory is not taking the newlyweds’ joy away, the TV host said that they are still in the honeymoon phase, she revealed:

“The honeymoon isn’t over yet, so it’s nice.”

This is the second wedding for both Couric and Molner. Katie Couric lost her first husband, Jay Monahan in 1998 to colon cancer. Molner, 50, who is an executive at the Brown Brothers Harriman and Co, was married to Jane.

With their busy schedules, it is great to hear that they are still finding time for their never-ending honeymoon.
