Kate Gosselin uses the R-Word and gets blasted for it. Gosselin is under fired this week after it was revealed that she used the R-Word to describe other parents she had to deal with back in 2006.
Kate Gosselin r-word scandal has people talking. Robert Hoffman author of the book KATE GOSSELIN: How She Fooled The World: The Rise And Fall Of A Reality TV Queen is the one who brought this incident to light via a small passage from the controversial tell-all sent to celebrity website Radar Online.
The father of Kate Gosselin’s children Jon allegedly forwarded an email he got from an organization that wanted their support, that’s when the reality diva answered back with:
“These people are retarded!”
Robert Hoffman apparently obtained a lot Kate Gosselin emails. Keep in mind, that all of this supposedly took place in December 2006.
It is only been pushed out now because someone has a book to sell. Additionally even if you built your entire career by being in the public eye, a minimum of privacy is still to be expected. No one would want their private emails and conversations to be made public.
Kate Gosselin is nonetheless being blasted left and right for her usage of the r-word. The Special Olympics put out a statement to bring awareness to the hurtful nature of that word. It read:
“We’re always saddened and disappointed when we hear people using the R-word. We encourage people to go to R-word.org and take the pledge. It’s important because it’s respect toward everyone.”
Kate Gosselin has not denied using the r-word, she has completely ignored this controversy for the most part. The mother-of-eight has instead decided to keep her fans updated on her family summer activities.
This is not the first time that Robert Hoffman has accused Kate Gosselin of doing horrible things, last month he accused her of being a bully who takes bad care of her children. The star of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” did deny those charges.
Kate Gosselin r-word scandal fabricated or not, is a good opportunity for people to have a conservation on how words can affect others.
