Kardashians texting drama is heating up the web. According to some, Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner were texting at the VMAs when Common asked for a brief moment of silence for Michael Brown, the unarmed teen who died in Ferguson, Missouri. The Kardashians were slammed by commentators on social media for being disrespectful, others defended them, well mocked them by saying that they were texting their smart friends to find out who is this Ferguson dude and what did he do?

Many are wondering were the Kardashian/Jenner sisters texting during the Ferguson tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards?

Last night the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” stars appeared at the VMAs in Inglewood, California wearing daring outfits.

Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall all sat front row at The Forum, so it was hard to miss their reactions during the soirée.

On the plus side, it seemed that Kim has ended her beef with Beyoncé (who failed to attend her Italian wedding) because she was seen happily clapping after the diva performed.

On the down side, it appears that the Kardashian clan was busy texting while rapper and activist Common, took the stage and asked that the audience take a moment of silence for the events that occurred in Ferguson.

The tribute was for 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was shot six times and killed in Ferguson, Missouri by a police officer named Darren Wilson on August 9. Brown’s funeral took place today.

The MC said that those protesting in Ferguson want America and the world to know that each and every one of our lives matters.

During the short remarks, the cameras moved over the audience and spotted Snoop Dogg with his head down as if he was praying.

Next, to Dogg were the “Kardashians” who also had their down… staring at their smartphones and texting frantically.

When they were done texting, they were talking to one another and to other people around them.

The photos of the “Kardashians” texting went viral and have received hundreds of hateful and expletive-laced comments.

Some mocked the stars by saying they were on their phones Googling Mike Brown and Ferguson to understand what the rapper was talking about.

Others claimed that they were texting Kourtney and other smart friends to find out who is this Ferguson man and why are they talking about him?

For some unknown reason, the Kardashians have not yet commented on the VMAs texting scandal.

  1. Not a fan of the Kardashians, but this is stupid. I saw the tribute but I didn’t stop fixing dinner for my wife and kids. What happened in Ferguson needs to be resolved as quickly as possible but them texting is nothing to complain about. I am a black man who does not think this is something to get upset about. Get upset about what happened in Ferguson and why a city that is 65% black has so many white officials, when people say they are not represented. A whole lot of some ones need to get up and VOTE!!!!!.

  2. And everyone seems surprised that this narcissistic bunch would text during a very sensitive period for everyone around them. Did you really expect a different outcome?? Come on, be real…..

  3. Ignorant and disrespectful. Obviously these girls are not up on current events! How rude! I suppose if the story doesn’t concern them they pay it no mind. A young man was gunned down in cold blood over a box of cigars!!!! No weapon just his hands in the air! A bad choice of his but never should his life have been in danger and taken! Shame on the Kardashians for their rudeness.

  4. A moment of silence for a 6’4 thug that just got done robbing a store and pushing around the owner…oh yes..and wait…fracturing a cops face after he bum rushed him and had a scuffle for the cops gun..that went off in the cop car and bullets flying out the window and hitting an adjacent apartment building……..a FRICKEN MOMENT OF SILENCE………FOR THAT PUKE..are you fricken kidding meeeeeeee…..I glad he died! COPS DON’T SHOOT CAUSE THEY LIKE TO KILL PEOPLE….THAT COP SHOT THAT JERK CAUSE HE JUST GOT HIS FACE PUNCHED IN AND THE THUG TRIED TO STEAL HIS GUN! tHAT’S THE FACT’S PEOPLEEEEEEEE WAKE THE HELL UP!!!!!

    1. You say he “tried” to steal the officer’s gun. Which implies that he did not succeed. Which means he was unarmed(and reports confirm he was unarmed). So why was he shot 6 times again? Because the cop was angry? Really? Aren’t they trained to handle situations like this? If we get to shoot and kill every time was get angry or someone “tries” us in any way, what would this world look like? Just legitimate questions. That’s all.

  5. Nancy, respectfully I say this to you. We ALL, including you, have made some not so good choices and decisions in life. Especially as young kids/adults. There are laws put in place that deal with shoplifting, assault and what ever else Mr. Brown was ‘accused’ of. There are consequences for these acts. Not one of those consequences is death. Murder. Execution style. Not one. And the last I heard from the police chief himself, the injuries that were reported about the officer were false. Please know your facts and state those, instead of stating your opinion as fact.

  6. Just as an “FYI”, my son was walking to the train station leaving his girlfriend’s house, when he was “bum rushed” by a man who twisted his arm behind his back. Not knowing who this person was, my son began to struggle to get away. At that time,3 plain cars pulled up, in which plain clothes detectives jumped out with their hands on their guns and told him that he “fits a description” of a person who just robbed a store in the area. My son in turn, told the officers that he was on his way to the subway and to search him because he only had a metrocard & $2.00 in his pocket. He happened to be wearing army pants which is the same type of pants that the person that they were looking for was wearing. After he was searched and was confirmed that he wasn’t the person that they were looking for, they apologized and went on their way. My point is had he continued to struggle and since the first officer did not identify himself, how would this scenerio had ended since there were no witnesses? It’s a scary world out there people and those who have sworn to protect us are people just as we are and will make very serious & deadly mistakes, so just be alert & cautious, because this could happen to any of us without warning.
