West, who is currently in Armenia with his family, has settled with the paparazzo he assaulted and has even apologized to the man. Meanwhile, Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys and Vin Diesel have started fighting. There is a feud brewing between the stars after Vin Diesel claimed that he was a dancer for the Beastie Boys back in the 1990s, and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz denied the story.
Kanye West apologizes and Vin Diesel‘s Beastie Boys dancing story goes up in smoke. Earlier today, it was revealed that Kanye West has settled in the civil lawsuit filed by Daniel Ramos, the paparazzo he assaulted at LAX in 2013.
Gloria Allred, who is Daniel Ramos’ attorney, issued a statement where she declined to say how much West paid but took the time to reveal that he had to apologize. Allred explained:
“This case was set for trial next week on April 14, 2015. However, today we filed a dismissal because the case was settled to the satisfaction of the parties. We cannot discuss the details of the settlement, except to say that one important aspect of it was an apology by Kanye West to our client, Daniel Ramos.”
West and the entire Kardashian clan is currently in Armenia while a member of Beastie Boys and Vin Diesel are fighting over dancing.
In other celebrity news, there is an internet beef brewing between the Beastie Boys’ Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and actor Vin Diesel, and it is not because of a woman, money or ideology.
The duo is fighting because during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March, Vin Diesel confessed that he was once a backup dancer for the Beastie Boys.
While promoting Fast Furious 7, Vin Diesel said that in the early 1990s, he landed a brief gig as a break dancer for the Beastie Boys. Vin Diesel stated:
“I danced for the Beastie Boys, yeah.They lived in my neighborhood and I was break dancing on the street and I wanted to get into a club called Dancetaria and I was 16-years old. And they said, ‘come you’re going to be our dancers.’ Then I got in free every night after that.”
The Vin Diesel Beastie Boys backup dancer story made many people laugh, went viral, and found its way to Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz. Last night, Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz, who is a singer and guitarist, appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he slammed the story.
“What my wife Kathleen was saying, was that perhaps, we were going into Danceteria — this was a club we used to go to all the time when we were kids — and that one of us, probably Yauch cause he’s a nice guy, saw this kid and was like, ‘Ya know, just, we’ll say you’re a breakdancer, you know, you’re with our band, blah, blah, blah.That could’ve happened, but that’s not the way that Mark Vincent told it, or Vin Diesel.”
Horovitz added:
“He said he was a breakdancer for the Beastie Boys! That’s weird, you guys!” “He’s big and muscly though! What happens?”He said that we saw him on the street breakdancing and were like, ‘Come on!. I’ve never seen anybody on the street I didn’t know and said, ‘Come on!’ That never happened.”

I think some people need a mouth filter. Although Kanye is entitled to an opinion he should just perform and keep his insulting comments to himself.
