Justina Cardosa Sues Police Chief John Whiting

Justina Cardosa Sues Police Chief John Whiting – Col. John Whiting who was the chief of the North Providence police department has been suspended and arrested for stealing $714 from Justina Cardoso a stripper whom he arrested back on August 28.

According to the lawsuit filed by Justina Cardoso on December 22, the police chief stole the money from her purse after the Ford Explorer she was ridding in was searched due to the fact that it had crashed after a police chase.

Cardoso who works at the Satin Doll strip club in Providence, is claiming that John Whiting illegally searched the vehicle that she was a passenger in, violated her constitutional rights, caused her to lose her job, car and is asking for $250,000 in damages.

Whiting who is set to have his day in court on February 16th allegedly confessed to taking the cash from Cardoso’s Coach pocketbook to another police officer.
