Jewel is definitely summer ready thanks to those hot bikini pictures that have surfaced. Over the weekend, the “Down So Long” singer shared a first snapshot where she can be seen in a mauve bikini top and a very large summer hat holding 3-year-old Kase, according to The Inquisitr.

Jewel was married to Ty Murray, a professional bull rider, for six years before splitting in 2014. “Miami! Kase and I at the beach,” she captioned the cute mother-and-son portrait.

Few days later, the headshot was followed by a full body shot where Jewel made it clear that 40 is definitely the new 20. The new divorcée appeared in the sexy selfie in a white monokini that revealed lots of cleavage, her washboard abs, toned legs and her well-defined arms a la Michelle Obama. “Thalasso Therapy. #Miami,” the “Who Will Save Your Soul” singer Instagrammed the post.

Jewel is set to release her upcoming memoir titled Never Broken: Songs Are Only Half the Story on September 15 where she will for the first time talk about her tough childhood. Born in Utah, raised in Alaska in a home with no running water, raised as a Mormon, homeless as a teen in California, Jewel fought it all to become a superstar and sell over 27 million albums worldwide. More about the memoir below:

Living on a homestead in Alaska, Jewel learned to yodel at age three and joined her parents’ act. Behind a strong-willed and independent family life was also instability, abuse, and trauma. She was eighteen and homeless in San Diego when a radio DJ aired a bootleg version of her song. And by age twenty-one, her debut album went multi-platinum. Jewel’s story is complicated by family and financial woes, by crippling fear and insecurity, and by the extraordinary circumstances in which she become a world-famous singer and songwriter. Here she reflects on how she survived and how writing songs, poetry, and prose have saved her life many times over.

    1. Jewel is a mother, have some dignity Harold.
Yes she looks beautiful, but you could have been more polite about it.

  1. I don’t get it. Celebrities want privacy but post pictures of themselves on the internet, get mad at all the looney paparazzi for chasing them around, sue them, demanding their privacy, and then post more pictures of themselves on the internet? Jewel’s story appears to be a wonderful triumph and that’s great, but you should really do what you can to preserve your privacy and reserve the public moments for when the spotlight is to be upon you be it at awards ceremonies, concerts, public appearances, etc. When people get celebrity it definitely skews their realities, perceptions, and how it is they should go about maintaining a balance between celebrity and privacy. I guess not being famous I cannot relate.
