Jennifer Lopez allegedly dissed Mariah Carey, and the story has gone viral. During the 2015 Billboard Awards, Carey took the stage and she performed “Vision of Love” and “Infinity,” but Lopez was busy scrolling on her Smartphone and talking to boyfriend Casper Smart.
Did Jennifer Lopez diss Mariah Carey at the BBMAs? A video has surfaced, showing Mariah Carey performing her hit song “Vision of Love” and her newly released single “Infinity” at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
While Carey struggled to hit some of the notes, Lopez turned on her phone and started looking at pictures and reading text messages. As Taylor Swift danced and clapped next to Lopez, she just kept looking at her phone.
After Lopez had gotten tired of her phone, she turned to Casper Smart for a little chitchat while Carey was fighting for her career on the stage.
Those two divas never really liked each other and probably never will. Few months ago, Jennifer Lopez was asked about the long rumored feud between herself and Mariah Carey.
She replied by saying that she is a big fan of Carey and went on to compliment her writing skills.
“I don’t have a feud against her at all.I know from back in the day, I’ve read things that she’s said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don’t know each other. I think it’s kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I’m not really aware of. But I don’t know,” Lopez said on Watch What Happens Live. “I would love to meet her and I would love to be friends with her. I think she’s incredibly talented and I’ve always been a fan of hers. ‘My All’ is one of my favorite songs of all time. I just love her. It saddens me to hear anything that’s negative because I’m a fan of hers.”
Weeks later, Carey was asked the same question while appearing on CNN, and the “Hero” singer had a less diplomatic answer.
“I don’t think [J-Lo] has anything to do with me. My whole thing is singing, writing songs…her thing is something different,” Carey said.
With comments like these Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey will be singing “Bad Blood” like Taylor Swift did for her nemesis Katy Perry – instead of “Feeling Myself” a la Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.

Carey has been overrated for a long time. I’m not sure why the media has to “make” news. why is it important that two celebs like each other? Carey has always come across as someone who’s in it for herself.
She is a diva because no matter how much of a bitch she may be she still has an incomparable instrument to rub in your face: her VOICE.
Mariah shouldn’t have any excuse. If she is going to put a whole parade together to promote her new enterprise she should have more to offer than her past glories.
