Jennifer Lawrence adds H20 tattoo to her tiny ink collection and becomes a laughingstock on the Internet. Earlier this week, Lawrence and several cast members of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 attended the San Diego Comic-Con International where she decided to show off her second tattoo.

Miss Lawrence, who has a small pair of lips on the front of her hand, decided to add H20 on the back. Talking to HitFix, Lawrence revealed that she decided to get the tattoo because her Hunger Games costar, Liam Hemsworth, and his family decided to get inks. So, why did she get the H20 tattoo?

Because even at the young age of 24, she needs some kind of reminder to be hydrated, especially in the California heat. The actress said:

“It’s not like a real tattoo. I was like, ‘I’m always going to need to be hydrated. So I guess I should just get ‘H20’ on my hand.”

Moreover, this is why people are laughing at Jennifer Lawrence, the scientific formula of water is H²O, not H20. The star is aware that her tat is scientifically inaccurate and explained that it is not permanent. She revealed:

“I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion because it’s not like a real tattoo. It’s the color of a scar, all natural so it’s literally the most unrebellious tattoo that anybody could ever get.”

She added:

“I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever. I know that the two is high, and in H2O the two is supposed to be low.”

  1. The article doesn’t even have H20 formatted correctly in it’s title.. the 2 should be a subscript.
