Jamie Foxx Miley Cyrus – Jamie Foxx appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC this evening and apologized for saying that young Disney star Miley Cyrus should “make a sex tape”.Here is what happened on the show.
Jay Leno:
“Did you say something inappropriate?”
Foxx:
“Yeah,I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere.I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart.”
Foxx added:
“Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”
Band leader Kevin Eubanks added:
“Jamie’s catchin’ it these days! Jamie can’t do nothing right these days.”
Jamie Foxx explained that he will call Miley Cyrus and say sorry.
Miley’s dad Billy Ray, is particularly upset, according to Eonline:
“He thinks Jamie was out of line and didn’t find any humor in it.He doesn’t understand why he would do that to Miley especially since he has teenage daughter himself.To say he didn’t know who Miley was doesn’t make sense.They’ve always been fans of Jamie, especially after meeting him. That’s why it’s even more disappointing.”
