Jace Alexander, a married father of three mainly known for being a director on Law & Order, is embroiled in a child pornography scandal that could land him behind bars and destroy his career. According to New York police, Alexander, whose real name is Jason Alexander, was caught distributing a shocking video that shows a young girl masturbating.
Jace Alexander aka Jason Alexander, not to be confused with actor Jason Alexander famous for playing George Costanza in Seinfeld, has been arrested by New York police.
Mr. Alexander was apprehended on July 29 after authorities discovered that he had posted a child pornography video online. In the disturbing clip, a young child between the ages of 12 or 13 years old is seen touching herself.
According to the police, the video was uploaded to a torrent site, and the IP of the poster was rapidly traced back to Jace Alexander’s home in Westchester County, New York.
During the search of Alexander’s house, investigators found another horrific child pornography video that showed a little girl, around the age of 6, masturbating.
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore released the mugshot, and a statement about the case that read:
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced that Jason Alexander (DOB 04/07/64) of 42 Bellair Dr., Dobbs Ferry, New York, was charged today by Felony Complaint with:
-one count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” Felony,
-one count of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” Felony, for possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than seventeen years of age.
On July 24, 2015, an investigator from the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office downloaded child pornography from an IP (internet protocol) address in Westchester County.
According to Andrew Garcia of the DA’s High Technology Crime Bureau, the lead investigator on the case, Jace Alexander was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and was charged with felony counts of promoting and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
He was briefly jailed and posted a $10,000 bail. On November 19, Alexander will have his day in court as he and his army of lawyers face DiFiore. If found guilty, he could spend seven years in state prison.
Jace Alexander, who is married to actress Maddie Corman, is a father of three, including 10-year-old twin boys.
Mr. Alexander, who is the only child of actress Jane Alexander, (The Great White Hope, Terminator Salvation and The Cider House Rules), has directed multiple television shows including Law & Order, Rescue Me, The Practice, Ally McBeal, Third Watch, House M.D., Prison Break, and Royal Pains.
