Indiana grandmother fights off carjackers and her amazing story goes viral. An Indiana grandmother by the name of Kay Kise, who was attacked by three young men, who attempted to carjack her, is speaking out, and hoping that the criminals will be apprehended.
Indiana grandmother fights off carjackers, cries for help and is saved by her neighbors. On Sunday night, Kay Kise returned home after her Christmas shopping.
The 67-year-old woman parked her new van in front of her home, where three young men walked up near her car. One of them approached her under the false pretense of needing direction.
The grandmother gave him the instruction he needed and he turned to her, and angrily demanded the keys to her vehicle as he pointed at gun at her face. The Indiana woman told local media:
“He come up to my car and he said, ‘Do you know where Hendricks Place is?.I told him it was just two blocks over and continued grabbing my shopping bags. The next thing you know, I turned back around and he had this gun right in my face.”
Kay Kise, who must have practiced Karate or Kung Fu during her youth, slapped the gun away from her face, and told the thug that she is not given up her van because she recently purchased it.
The move made the carjacker very angry, which prompted him to pistol-whip her. The senior citizen shared:
“He said, ‘I said give me the keys’…and I hit that gun out of my face and I said, ‘You’re not taking my car. I haven’t had it that long. You’re not getting it.'”
After the beating, the granny cried and screamed for help. A young female neighbor, who heard the screams ran to her mother, and the pair were able to save the senior citizen.

Despite the injuries and the emotional trauma, she is happy that she still has her van. Kay Kise revealed that she is sad to see “children” behaving like criminals and hopes that they will be punished for their actions.

Wonder why the news article didn’t have the description of the suspects but has the description of the gun in full detail. Surely if the assailants were black or Hispanic that is the first thing that would be written down. But since grandma is said she is sad to see “children” behaving like criminals. Safe to say they must have been white “kids” just fooling around, no massive man hunt necessary.
And, what was this “detailed” description of the gun, you mentioned? I read it and re-read it, and saw no “detailed” description of the gun. It just said GUN, many times. White gun? Black gun? Chrome gun? Semi-auto? Revolver? Shotgun? Little gun? Big gun? 22? 45? Nine? Man, I looked and I just didn’t see it. Share your knowledge with us, will ya? And, I’m not even gonna guess the assailants ethnicity.
