The country band’s lead singer Hillary Scott took to her website to announce to her fans that she had gotten married to fiance Chris Tyrell in a private ceremony in New York in front of few friends and family members.
According to the star’s rep Hillary Scott walked down the aisle in a one of a kind mermaid gown designed by the queen of bridal wear Vera Wang while Chris Tyrell sported am Ermenegildo Zegna suit.
The new couple posted a video showing their wedding ceremony along with the following message:
“We got married! We just wanted you to hear it from us first,” Scott gushed to fans after showing off her wedding ring. “We love you. We’re so excited to be starting our life together, and we just had to let you in on the excitement.”
The husband and wife met in 2010 during Tim McGraw’s Southern Voice Tour and got engaged ob the 4th of July of 2011.
