Herman Cain 9-9-9 Plan Attacked At CNN Republican Presidential Debate – Herman Cain who stole the spotlight from Rick Perry and Mitt Romney during last Monday’s debate that was hosted by Bloomberg TV and the Washington Post with his 9 9 9 Tax Plan is discovering what it means to be the leader of the 2011/2012 GOP field.

During this evening CNN Western Republican Presidential Debate, the former CEO of GodFather pizza who spent the last week talking in great details about his 9-9-9 plan put together by accountant-turned economist Rich Lowrie which would permit Americans to pay only 9 percent personal income tax, 9 percent corporate tax, and 9 percent national sales tax was tackled by every opponent on the stage.

The anti-neoconservative who is now leading the polls may have used his business background to sell and popularize his catchy and apparently simple plan was told by the seven Republicans on the pulpit that his piece of legislation was a bad idea for America.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in particular, took great pleasure shedding some light on Cain’s signature 9-9-9 plan revealing some interesting facts that were proven correct.

As it turned out Herman Cain’s 999 Plan will raise taxes for over 85% of Americans.

It will also hit the middle class the hardest – those making between 40,000 and 50,000 dollars annually are expected to see their taxes increase by almost 5,000 dollars.

The radio personality who tried to stir away the harsh criticism that he has been hit with by talking about apples and oranges failed to point out that under his “simple” plan, wealthy citizens like billionaire Warren Buffett would be paying less taxes.

The Western Republican Presidential Debate proved that the Republican phenomenon may have some great sound bites and sense of humor to capture the voters’s attention, but he needs couple of policy advisers to better roll out his flawed plan.
