Hayden Panettiere’s hair is grabbing headlines, and the actress is happy to be focusing on something as light-hearted as her new haircut. Hayden Panettiere debuted a new haircut just days after leaving a center where she was being treated for postpartum depression.

For several weeks now, petite star Hayden Panettiere has been off social media to focus on her mental health. In a statement issued by the Nashville actress in October, she revealed that she was entering a center to have a team of medical experts help her handle her postpartum depression. Panettiere is a mother to 10-month-old Kaya Evodokia with fiancé, professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko. Last week, Panettiere returned to Twitter where she began updating fans on her life, health and even look.

The 26-year-old TV star posted a cute picture of herself where she could be seen sporting what seems to be a shoulder-length bob. The haircut, which could have been inspired by Jennifer Aniston is uneven, and her colorist played with several shades of blonde. The singer and animal rights activist looked stunning with her new sexy ‘do.

In the caption portion of the post, Panettiere revealed that her new fun hairstyle is a symbol of her state of mind. She wrote:

“Chopping hair off is like getting rid of metaphorical and literal dead ends,” she tweeted on Friday. “Off with the old and growing the new.”

Along with the photo of the fresh haircut, Panettiere shared fun snapshots of herself getting a facial and loving it. She also posted a selfie straight out of bed and explained like Beyoncé, “she woke up like that,” and that she dreamed of being best friends with Amy Schumer. She shared:

“Just woke up and remembered my dream about being best friends with @amyschumer #greatdream #goodmorning.”

Th future Mrs. Wladimir Klitschko, who has been very open about her battle with depression, recently revealed that she is doing better and is starting to love and appreciate her baby girl. She wrote:

“Feeling like I’m #finally coming back in to my own body!mother #daughter #blessing #wellworthit @bonesthenskin.”

Via her Twitter page, she has been encouraging other moms, who are struggling with depression to seek treatment. Prior to chopping her hair, Panettiere flew to Germany to support the father of her child and Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko in a match.

During an interview on Live! with Kelly and Michael in September, Panettiere said she could understand her on-screen character Juliette Barnes, who was struggling with PPD in the current season of the hit ABC show. She shared:

“It’s something a lot of women experience. When [you’re told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child’ — I’ve never, ever had those feelings. Some women do. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”

Meanwhile, another Nashville star is also making news after she cut her very long hair. Clare Bowen opened up about her childhood battle with cancer in an emotional Facebook post last month, that read:

“I don’t know if it was brave, I didn’t realize that it would have such an impact.I just wanted to make people feel better, and it seems to have done exactly what I wanted it to do — but way more than I expected. … The way people are speaking with each other, it’s been really kind. It’s spread exactly what I wanted to spread out there.”

But believe me you look even better than before.
