Greta Van Susteren is not leaving the Fox News Channel – for now.

Earlier this week rumors started flying around claiming that Greta Van Susteren was exiting FOX for CNN after she was spotted meeting with her former NBC Universal boss Jeff Zucker who is now the head of CNN.

To further fuel the speculation, the network put out a press release announcing that Van Susteren’s golden 10 p.m. slot was given to Megyn Kelly upon her return from maternity leave later in the fall.

After realizing that her name was all over the news, the reporter took to Twitter to clarify the matter. She wrote:

“I am not going anywhere. I have a long term contract with Fox News Channel and it is for a daily cable news show in prime time.”

The network later confirmed that Greta Van Susteren along with Bret Baier, Shepard Smith, Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity had all recommitted to long-term contracts.

I am 77 and stay up every nite when you come on the 2nd time here. I like Megan. You are the most powerful news person on all networks. You handle most of your guests with gloves; either kid or boxing depending upon the need. You also do your research completely. Don’t Go.
