Government Licensing Internet: Microsoft Theory Hits Web – The folks at Prison Planet.com have just published a story entitled government licensing internet that has the internet on fire again.

Paul Joseph Watson wrote an interesting piece where he reveals that Scott Charney, Microsoft vice president of Trustworthy Computing expressed his desires to have the internet policed during a speech at the the ISSE 2010 computer security conference in Berlin on Tuesday.

Scott Charney believes that these measures should be taken in order to better monitor people who releasing malware on the internet.

Charney who seriously wants the Obama administration to better handle cybersecurity said to the crowd:

“If a device is known to be a danger to the internet, the user should be notified and the device should be cleaned before it is allowed unfettered access to the internet, minimizing the risk of the infected device contaminating other devices,”

Pundits are saying that Charney and the Obama administration are working hand and hand to discourage people from using the Internet and inform themselves on worldly matters.
