French Toast Crunch, which is a very sweet cereal, debuted in late 1995 and was discontinued in 2006. The cereal will make its big comeback in its original shape from the 1990s and will be manufactured in Canada.

Waylon Good, marketing manager for General Mills, explained that they decided to bring the cereal back due to overwhelming requests by fans. Good said in a statement:

“All of the conversations, requests, and passion from the fans really got our attention.”

Good added:

“It’s amazing to see how nostalgia for brands from generations past can really take on a life of its own — demonstrating a real desire to have these products back in our lives. We are so excited to give fans a chance to experience the cereal as they did many years ago, and also to introduce it to a new generation of French Toast Crunchers!”
