Katherine Webb made an appearance on The Today Show on Wednesday where she revealed that Brent Musburger and ESPN were not obligated to apologize for the comments that the sportscaster made about her physique.

The reigning Miss Alabama who became an overnight celebrity thanks to the remarks received the following apology from ESPN:

“…However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far. Brent understands that.”

A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb revealed that she was not troubled by Brent Musburger’s remarks because she believes that he was simply trying to make a nice compliment on her beauty.

Her parents – Leslie and Alan Webb have also asked the media to leave Brent Musburger alone.

Katherine Webb who has almost 300k followers on Twitter has been asked by Donald Trump to be a judge at the Miss USA Pageant that will take place in Las Vegas.
