A jury has found Elizabeth Ramsey guilty of starving her stepson Johnathan Ramsey in August of 2011. Johnathan Ramsey was locked in his room by his stepmother and father Aaron Ramsey who rarely fed him milk and bread. The starving child who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome sometimes ate his own feces to survive. At his death Johnathan Ramsey weighed only 60 pounds.

On Tuesday the members of a jury in Dallas took minutes to find Elizabeth Ramsey guilty in the death of her 10-year-old stepson Johnathan Ramsey.

The stepmother will appear in court in the following days for her sentencing hearing where she is almost certain to serve life in prison.

Johnathan Ramsey’s father Aaron Ramsey is already serving his life sentence imprisonment.

During Thanksgiving dinner 2010 Elizabeth Ramsey who is described as a pathological liar by her family told everyone that she was pregnant with triplets and that Johnathan Ramsey had punched her in the stomach and she had a miscarriage, which prompted her to lock him in his room.

From late 2010 to August of 2011 Johnathan Ramsey’s parents put him on what they called a “military diet” feeding him bread, water and sometime milk.

The child with special needs went from 90 to 60 pounds in a matter of months.

During the investigation police learned that the kid was forced to eat his own feces to stay alive.

In August of 2011, the little boy died and his father decided to ditch his body in a creek.

When Johnathan’s grandparents asked to see him, they were told he was spending time with his biological mother, Judy Williams and brother in New Mexico.

Upon realizing the couple was lying, the grandparents called the police who found the kid’s remains in a sleeping bag wearing his favorite pajamas one year later.

During the emotional trial, some jury members cried as it was revealed that the kid was quiet and nice and never acted violently.

It also came to light that the stepmother had anger issues and was never pregnant.
