Declan Sullivan Twitter Locked After Notre Dame Student Died In Video Tower Collapse – On Wednesday, a Notre Dame student died after filming football practice from a tower that collapsed. Twenty year old Declan Sullivan was transported to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Football coach Brian Kelly sent his thoughts and prayers to the family and said this about the student:

“Declan was a diligent student worker in our video department and had a tremendous personality and great sense of humor. He brightened the days for all that had the privilege to work with him, and the Notre Dame football family will dearly miss him.”

It is thought that authorities are investigating the incident to find out how the tragic accident happened.

Apparently, the tower was stretched across the street and at the time of filming winds were up to fifty one miles per hour. Students have been provided with grief counselors to help them deal with the loss.

Rev. John Jenkins had this to say about the tragic accident: “We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss.”

“Our hearts go out to the student’s family and friends and our prayers and profound sympathies are with them during this incredibly difficult time. The loss of someone so young is a terrible shock and a great sadness. Our entire community shares in the family’s grief.”

It is expected that more details will be released after the investigation is completed, depending on if the family want details to be released.

Declan Sullivan’s Twitter feed was put on lock by the social network website, he had 41 followers to whom, he tweeted the following right before the dramatic incident:

“Gusts of wind up to 60 mph. Well today will be fun at work. I guess I’ve lived long enough.”

“Holy f***. Holy f***. This is terrifying.”

In light of what happened these messages now have a prophetic tone.
