In a new video released on Facebook, Scott Stapp, who was the lead singer of Creed confessed that he was living in his car and has spent two days with no food to eat. Creed’s former frontman also revealed that he is sober and slammed the IRS for taking his money.

Creed singer is homeless and penniless, this is the shocking revelation made on social media earlier in the week, according to The Inquisitr. On Wednesday morning, Creed’s frontman, Scott Stapp, posted a 15-minute video, where he made some surprising confessions.

In the clip, the singer stated that the IRS froze all his assets in the past weeks. Without a dime to his name, Stapp was homeless for few days and slept in his car for several days.

The artist also revealed that he went with no food for two days and landed in the hospital due to malnutrition and dehydration. The 41-year-old rocker stated:

“There’s been a couple weeks where I had to sleep in my truck, I had no money, not even for gas or food. … I went two days without eating, ’cause I had no money, and ended up in an emergency room.”

So, why is the Creed singer homeless and broke after selling more than 25 million albums? The “With Arms Wide Open” singer said that Uncle Sam is to blame for his predicament. “Eight weeks ago, I began an audit of not only my record company, but my personal finances.During the course of that audit, a lot of things were uncovered. A lot of money was stolen from me, or royalties not paid, and that’s when all hell began to break loose.”

The Creed singer went on to slam the rumors flying around the internet claiming that he died of a drug overdose. Mr Stapp revealed that he is as “sober as can be,” and takes regular blood and urine tests to prove it. He went to state:

“There are people that have taken advantage and stolen money from me, and they’re trying to discredit me, slander me.I’ve been threatened that if I went public like I’m doing right now, that any impropriety or anything that I’ve done in my past that these individuals can get their hands on to humiliate and embarrass me and try to ruin my credibility, that they would do that.”

He finished on a positive note, by saying that he is very excited about the future and is happy to finally dedicate his music, and his life to spreading the message of Christianity.

According to News OXY, Stapp tried to kill himself after the fame was gone, but rapper T.I. saved his life. It was recently revealed that Stapp’s wife, Jaclyn, filed for divorce in Florida, where the couple once lived with their three children.
