Courteney Cox’s wedding singer has been chosen and it will be her 10-year-old daughter, Coco. It has also been revealed that Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox have opted to have two wedding ceremonies and little Coco is helping with everything from the guest list to decorations.
Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox‘s wedding singer has been revealed. A close source to Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox, spoke to Us Magazine and explained that they have decided to have the actress’ 10-year-old daughter, Coco, as their wedding singer.
The insider revealed that Coco has been inspired by Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, 38, and has been taking voice lessons to impress her mother and step-father.
The spy explained:
”[Coco] is taking singing lessons. She’s inspired by Johnny and will perform at the wedding.”
In a recent interview, Courteney Cox revealed that Coco whom she had with David Arquette, has been pitching ideas for the wedding. The proud mother stated:
“Coco spends more time thinking about the wedding than I do. She wants to be the maid of honor. She’s like, ‘I want you to have bridemaids.’ I said, ‘That’s a little different than the norm.”
According to Cox, her daughter might be taking things too seriously, because she wants to also pick the maid of honor and give her opinion on the guest list. The Cougar Town actress, said:
“She’s demanding certain things! She’s like, ‘I also told my best friend she could be in the wedding.’ I’m like, ‘OK, Coco, why don’t you just tell me what’s happening?’ I’m letting this be her thing.”
Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox started dating in late 2013. It was revealed that Ed Sheeran is the one who played matchmaker and set up his good friend with Courteney Cox.
After announcing their engagement in June of 2014, Cox confessed that her daughter played an important part in the big day. Courteney Cox told Jimmy Kimmel:
“They made a plan to count down from three, and when they got to one, he was gonna get down on his knee and say, ‘Will you marry me?’ and she was gonna say, ‘Will you marry him?’ They planned it out, they found the perfect tree, with three branches that led to one trunk — it was beautiful.”
The lovers were unable to decide where to get married and they opted to have two ceremonies. There will be one in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, so all of Johnny McDaid’s family and friends can attend and another in Los Angeles for Cox’s entourage.
An insider said that the pair started fighting over the planning of the wedding and having two events solved the matter. The person claimed:
“Courteney really wants the wedding in LA so all her closest friends can attend, while Johnny wants his special day to be somewhere closer to his roots.”
