Cissy Houston On Whitney’s Death – Gospel singer Cissy Houston is said to be heartbroken and devastated by the news that her legendary daughter Whitney Houston had passed away.
It is a well known fact that the last thing a parent wants is to bury their child.
Mrs Houston who is in New Jersey awaiting the remains of the late pop diva has issued a statement explaining how torn she is to have lost a child and thanked the public for their outpouring of love and support:
“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends.”
The mother always had touching words towards her daughter explaining that she trained her to sing starting at the age of 4 and was amazed by the star she became and often she gave her chills whenever she would ever hear sing.
Unconfirmed reports claimed that a fatal “combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol,” that include beer, champagne and tequila made the star unconscious in her bathtub where she eventually drowned.
