Christa Dias Drama: Catholic Schools Fire Single, Pregnant Teacher – While the bible does say that humans should be fruitful and multiply that does not mean you can use artificial insemination to accomplish such tasks.

Christa Dias who was a teacher at the Holy Family and St. Lawrence Catholic schools in Cincinnati, Ohio was booted from her post after authorities at the school discovered that she was impregnated via artificial insemination.

The head of St. Lawrence stated that Dias was fired from the $36,000-per-year teaching job because she violated Catholic teaching as well as her employment contract by having baby via IVF and out of wedlock.

The former technology coordinator who gave birth to a baby girl has sued the school, but her case is pending while Supreme Court judges a similar matter.

While the former educator contract clearly stated that the usage of artificial insemination is a breach of the agreement signed by both parties, male teachers who donate sperms are not terminated.

Furthermore Rev. James Kiffermeyer – the religious man who fired Dias was accused in 2002 of molesting two male high school students and was able to keep his job after pleading no contest to the charges.

Ah…such is the hypocrisy of the Catholic church. Don’t have kids out of wedlock, but its OK to molest little boys. What a joke! I hope she wins her case
