Chris Brown Fake Tears BET Awards 2010 : Dit It Work? – Speculation as to whether or not Chris Brown’s tears at the BET Awards were genuine has been running rampant online since the incident took place. It was easily the most entertaining performance of the night, but was it genuine? Brown broke down and started crying when he was singing Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror.” The tears seemed to be less about the death of Jackson, and more about Brown’s frustration with his career. Brown has complained several times through his Twitter account about how he believes that certain retail stores and record executives are trying to blackball him from the industry.
His overwhelming display was entertainment at its finest. It represented a dying career. Now, people are talking about a “Chris Brown comeback.” It will be hard for him to return to the good graces of his fans after famously assaulting his girlfriend and R&B sensation, Rihanna. The day following the incident, pictures leaked online showing how badly beaten Rihanna had been in the fight. Brown pleaded guilty to a felony charge following the incident.
Now comes the hard part for Brown. He will have to convince his fans that he is a changed man and that the first incident was a one-time thing. With so much debate revolving around his BET performance, he certainly has put himself into a better position than he was previously. The record sales for his last album failed to meet expectations and disappointed many in his camp.

I’m so glad man is not like God. If we have a relationship with God and confess our sins with heartfelt sorrow, he will forgive us our sins an remember them no more. People often find satisfaction focusing on the shortcomings of others. (This keeps them from focusing on the areas in their lives that need adjusting) THOSE TEARS WERE REAL. I cried myself as I watched him perform. Tears are often a release; a cleansing. I pray that Chris will leave the past behind and focus on pursuing his God given talents.

When people see Charlie Sheen do they continually talk about how he abused his wife and threatened to kill her with a knife? No, you don’t hear that each and every time because people looked past his alcoholism and abusiveness because he has a hit television show. I feel that Chris has learned his lesson and he is trying to move in a more positive direction. Let this young man have a positive moment for once in his life.He hasn’t performed on any award show for a whole year. He was excited to do the thing he loves to do the most and that is perform.
