Cara Reynolds’ raspberry supplements-related death is grabbing headlines. Reynolds died after consuming a large amount of Forza raspberry ketone supplements, which she had originally purchased to help her lose weight. It is believed that Miss Cara Reynolds may have committed suicide after splitting from her fiancé.

Cara Reynolds Raspberry

Cara Reynolds‘ raspberry diet pill overdose has her family demanding that the product be removed from the shelves. A 24-year-old British woman by the name of Cara Reynolds decided to go on a diet last year.

According to her father, Michael Reynolds, Miss Reynolds was a very healthy young woman, and was; therefore, surprised when she announced her dieting and exercising plan.

Mr Reynolds revealed that his daughter, who worked with mental health patients, wore size 10 and looked very fit. The mourning father said that the family supported Cara because she was going through a tough time .

About one year ago, the young health worker was dumped by her fiancé. In February, Cara Reynolds ordered the celebrity-endorsed Forza raspberry ketone ‘natural’ supplements from Amazon for $38 and fell ill after taking just two pills.

Miss Reynolds complained of heart palpitations after swallowing the raspberry diet pills. It is believed that one pill contains 250mg of caffeine, which is equivalent to more than four cans of Red Bull or seven cans of Coca Cola.

Michael Reynolds said that his daughter was so scared that she promised to stop using the supplements. He said:

“She’d only taken the recommended amount of pills but was scared because her heart was going 10 to the dozen. That’s when she said she wasn’t going to take them for weight loss any more – it had really worried her.”

But one month later in a moment of despair, Cara Reynolds took a great quantity of raspberry supplements, which lead to a seizure. The father talked about his daughter’s final moments saying that she told him she was heartbroken over the breakup, which is why she took the pills.

She begged him to get help because she realized she made a horrible mistake and did not want to die. He stated:

“I held my only daughter in my arms and before she became unresponsive she kept telling me she had made a mistake and that she didn’t want to die. She’d broken up with her fiance of one year and was left devastated by the rocky relationship. In a moment of madness, she’d taken an overdose because she had the ketones to hand.”

Cara Reynolds’ dad went on to add:

“It was the most heartbreaking moment of my life, and one I will never forget.”

The lady was rushed to Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, where doctors made 44 attempts to resuscitate her. Miss Reynolds died five hours later from cardiovascular collapse after taking the raspberry supplements.

Cara Reynolds raspberry slimming pill-related death prompted a representative for Forza to issue the following statement:

“This is a tragic and understandably upsetting situation for her family and friends, but it could have been effected through the misuse of any supplement. Forza products meet vigorous health and safety standards and have clear labelling and directions for safe usage. It is regrettable to our client that an intentional overdose of a large number of capsules of a food supplement has potentially contributed to Miss Reynolds’ suicide. The facts surrounding this incident are not yet wholly clear, but our client entirely rejects any implication that an inherent safety issue with its products is responsible.”

The Reynolds family has now launched a campaign to make stores take Forza raspberry ketone off their shelves. Should these pills be banned?
