The FBI’s 10 Most Wanted fugitives list has a new addition, and her name is Brenda Delgado, and she is believed to be hiding in Mexico. On Wednesday, authorities offered $100,000 for information on the whereabouts of Delgado, who is wanted for capital murder. Delgado, who is from Dallas, Texas, has been on the run for seven months.

According to the FBI, Delgado and two accomplices are guilty of murdering a young and bright dentist by the name of Kendra Hatcher. It is claimed that Delgado became enraged after she learned that Hatcher was dating her former lover and the pair was getting very serious and had met each other’s families.

Jealousy pushed her to promise two unnamed individuals drugs and money. They waited for the dentist in her parking lot and shot her to death. In September 2015, Delgado, 33, was interviewed and indicted on capital murder charges and was later released.

In October, the woman left the United States, which led to a federal fugitive warrant being issued against her. Thomas Class Sr. , of the FBI’s Dallas division, said Delgado, who has links to the cartels, plotted for months to have the dentist killed. Special Agent Jason Ibrahim, of the same division, stated:

“Apparently she was jealous because the victim was dating her ex-boyfriend.”

Mexico no longer has the death sentence, and Dallas authorities have agreed to sentence Delgado to life in prison when she is captured. Dallas County District Attorney explained:

“We’re trying to get her extradited back here. In order for us to do that, one of the conditions was the death penalty had to be off the table. She’s still charged with capital murder, which carries a life sentence.”

Bonnie Hatcher, the victim’s mother, shared:

“The only thing that I want is Delgado back and her to serve justice. That is the only thing that I think about.”

The grieving mother added:

“Although she didn’t pull the trigger herself, she is still responsible for the murder. She was just waiting for the right opportunity, and the right people to carry it out. In order for us to do that, one of the conditions was the death penalty had to be off the table. She’s still charged with capital murder, which carries a life sentence.”

Delgado is the ninth woman to make it on the FBI list of 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, which can be seen below.
