Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Prince William and Kate Middleton all had a nice meeting over tea this week. It was the first time that Pitt and Jolie ever met Prince William aka Will and his wife, Middleton. The foursome talked about their children and how to help the victims of the many crises taking place in the world.
Brad, Angelina, Will and Kate sat down for a very lengthy meeting on Friday in England. Moreover, according to sources, Mrs. Jolie opened the ball by sharing her experience as a United Nations special envoy for refugees.
Angelina Jolie was at the World Refugee Day event few days ago in Turkey where she delivered a very powerful speech about the millions of displaced people worldwide. Mrs. Brad Pitt said:
“Nearly 60 million people are displaced from their homes.That is one in every 122 people on our planet. Our world has never been richer or healthier or more advanced. Yet never before have so many people been dispossessed and stripped of their basic human rights.”
When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt sat down for tea with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it was supposed to be a brief meeting of 40 minutes, but it lasted several hours.
Will and Kate were thrilled to talk about the milestones that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are hitting with Brad and Angelina, who have six children of their own.
According to a close source, Prince George was also at the meeting and the actors were happy to play with the child and offered him, a very special gift. A Kensington Palace spokesman confirmed the mini tea party, but would not say what kind of gift the Hollywood couple gave the toddler. The insider revealed:
“Everyone got on splendidly.Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. They ended up staying for almost a few hours.”
Another topic that the clan tackled is how to combat illegal wildlife trade. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently in London to attend an event at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on Monday where topics such as the terrorist incidents in Tunisia, Kuwait and France will be discussed.

It is encouraging to see some positive interaction and publicity. These people are trying to help and work with a very difficult situation that exists on our planet – many stand by and do little or nothing. It cannot be fixed by just a few, of course, but with their effort and the efforts of the others that are working toward the betterment of our world, there is hope…we all have to do what we can…
