Top TV chef Bobby Flay is divorcing his wife, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress Stephanie March, after a 10-year union. Flay filed the papers last week stating that the marriage has “broken down irretrievably,” according to TMZ.

The celebrity news website reported that Flay and March split about three weeks ago when the Iron Chef left the couple’s New York City home. Things started going south for the pair over one year ago when the actress faced a heath scare, and the restaurateur failed to show real support; Flay opted to focus on his work.

On February 20, Bobby Flay and Stephanie March celebrated their 10-year anniversary, but they did not spend the day together. Flay was attending a wine festival. This will be the third divorce for the 50-year-old New York City native and the first one for the Texan.

According to the prenup, March is entitled to $5,000 a month for five years, and she is not happy with this amount. The actress and her lawyers are claiming that she contributed to the expansion of Flay’s business during their marriage. TMZ reports that a settlement could be reached between the two parties in the upcoming weeks.

Rumors of infidelity have dogged the chef for years. Those allegations linked him to Last Man on Earth actress January Jones in 2010. Recently, anonymous sources said they saw him getting cozy with popular chef Giada De Laurentiis, who is also in the middle of a divorce.

De Laurentiis, 44, and fashion designer Todd Thompson announced their separation in December 2014 after ten years of marriage and one child, a six-year-old girl named Jade Marie De Laurentiis-Thompson.

  1. I think people need to try to work on their marriage instead of getting divorced so quickly. It takes work on both parties.

  2. Divorce hurts everyone involved. I wish they would try and work out the problems. I can only pray for them.
