All Black Sabbath fans should really enjoy the upcoming Phoenix concert because it will be the last one. In a recent interview, Ozzy Osbourne, who has been a member of the metal band for 47 years, says he has decided to part ways with Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward – but this time it is for good.

Osbourne, who is currently gearing up for the first leg of the band’s farewell tour, dubbed “The End,” explained:

“It’s the end of Sabbath, believe me,

Osbourne went on to reveal to the Times-Picayune that his age and guitarist Tony Iommi‘s battle with lymphoma are the reasons for the end of the band. He revealed:

“In December, I’ll be fucking’ 68, and I think it’s time to call it the end of the day. I’m not saying I won’t get on stage with Geezer or Tony [Iommi] or any of them some time, but officially we’re going to be done. I don’t want it to dwindle and dwindle and play just for the sake of making another fucking sack full of cash. So it’s time, and then I’ll go back to doing my own thing.”

In another interview, Osbourne made an announcement that broke the hearts of Black Sabbath’s fans for the second time – the band’s last album has also been cancelled. Last September, the reality star had announced that the group was hard at work on the follow-up to their 2013’s chart-topping album, 13, but they have dumped that idea to focus on the tour.

The End Tour is wrapping up on September 21 at the Ak-Chin Pavilion amphitheater in Phoenix, Arizona, make sure you grab a ticket to see the band’s last concert ever.
