Billy Collins Jr Luis Resto:Assault In The Ring – There is a new documentary out called “Assault in the Ring,” done by well known filmmaker Eric Drath, a former boxing promoter.”Assault in the Ring,” retells the story of Luis Resto,who fought for the 1983 junior middleweight title against Billy Collins Jr. at Madison Square Garden.

After the match it was discovered that Resto’s trainer, Panama Lewis, had removed an ounce of padding from his gloves which made the boxer’s punches lethal.Collins’ face was left looking like he’d run over by a train,he was also left him with an eye injury which ended his career.After a long depression Collins killed himself.Resto and Panama Lewis, served 2-1/2-year prison terms. Resto has confessed to destroying Collins’ life but Panama has denied he ever did any wrong.

      This documentary was one of the best ones i have ever seen. It is sad how Panama Lewis never admitted to it though if i was Resto i would have straight up just punched Panama in the face
