The stars of the show wanted to get paid accordingly.

“The Big Bang Theory” contract talks are over and fans of the TV series can now rejoice. Season 8 is no longer in danger. Production was scheduled to begin last week Wednesday, but was put on hold. Since the debate over the new contracts has ended, production will resume on Wednesday. Warner Bros. TV, the big company behind the show put out the following statement on the matter, it read:

What do we know about the “The Big Bang Theory” contract situation?

The main stars of the show Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, were all seeking north of $1 million per episode.

Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar were looking at offers upward of $500,000. Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch contracts were renewed last September with a nice pay increase.

If those numbers seem impressive, they are not unprecedented in the comedy TV world. The stars of NBC’s classic sitcom “Friends” were making the same kind of money per episode in 2004.

People at CBS and the creator of “The Big Bang Theory” Chuck Lorre, all believed that a deal was still within reach. They expected the different sides to find a framework that would be good for everyone at the negotiation table. They were right to be optimistic.

Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco have reached an agreement with Warner Bros. TV on August 4. They will earn $1 million per episode over the next three years plus bonuses. Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar were still negotiating yesterday, but an agreement was found on Tuesday.

According to rumors and spoilers, season 8 will bring a lot of changes for the clan.

Sheldon will not leave for Pasadena, season 7 ended with a total meltdown for the character, who was at a train station trying to flee.

Sheldon will return and his relationship with Amy will head to uncharted territories.

Penny and Leonard will not elope anytime in the near future, the aspiring actress will instead be focusing on her career.

“The Big Bang Theory” season 8 premiere is scheduled for September 22.

This is really-really- stupid when these actors/actress are ASKING FOR MORE.
—-They need to go spend a month in a 3rd world country and see how people are scrounging day to day to find food.

They need to find a better solution or even better yet “A BETTER SHOW”!!!
