Bethenny Frankel talked split, her failed talk show, dating other men and never walking down the aisle again during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday evening.

Frankel revealed to host Andy Cohen that she ended her romance with Michael Cerussi III several weeks ago. When asked what went wrong, Bethenny Frankel alluded to the fact that the pair might have been fighting over her money. She said:

“I think people should be in relationships with people that really accept them and understand them. I think fame and attention and money does not bring out the best in everybody. I think that money, in many ways, is the root of all evil.”

On the other hand, Examiner reports that Cerussi was having a hard time adjusting to his new status as a celebrity. He was overwhelmed by the level attention Frankel was receiving.

Bethenny Frankel and Michael Cerussi took their romance public in early 2014. The pair looked happy and in love as they vacationed in Miami, Florida just weeks ago, although it is hard to ignore the fact that Michael Cerussi III seemed to be always focused on the paparazzi instead of Frankel.

A close source to the Real Housewives of New York City star gave more information on the split, saying that the pair was at different stages in their lives and did not agree on much. The insider revealed:

“They’re in different places in their lives and they were headed down different paths. They were co-habitating for a bit, but are not anymore.”

Bethenny Frankel’s split from husband, Jason Hoppy, was also discussed during the chit-chat. Frankel is still fighting in court with Hoppy over the divorce proceedings and custody of their daughter, Bryn, 4. The business mogul, shared:

“I don’t really view them as failures. I don’t think of it that way. I don’t view them as successes, don’t get it twisted… but I think of them as experiences and I really can’t compare the two.”

Asked why did her second marriage fail, she claimed that they decided to ignore the little issues, and they eventually grew into insurmountable problems. The mom of one added:

“We brushed the [warning signs] under the rug.Cracks become craters. Little things that you see in your relationships and your friendships… I feel like in our personal lives, we don’t [acknowledge them]. I think men are just better about that than women.”

The Bethenny Ever After star revealed that she has no plans to get married a third time because it does not work. She revealed:

“I believe in love, I believe in marriage.I just don’t believe in legal marriage for myself…. And I do believe in life after love.”

She explained that she is currently single, but did have few flings since dumping Michael Cerussi. The author of “A Place of Yes: 10 Rules for Getting Everything You Want Out of Life” added:

“I’m not dating now.I wish that my dating life were as colorful and exciting as it’s written about, but right now I’m kind of at a standstill. I’ve been – I’ve dated this year. I’ve had a lot of different experiences, but I have a daughter and I am still married.”

The host also asked her what kind of man she is looking for, and she replied by saying that she needs someone who can handle her. She shared:

“I don’t know what my judgment is. I don’t know what I’m looking for, and I don’t know if I’m looking for anything. I think the kind of guy that I would need to be with has to be able to handle me, which is a tall order.”
