Barry Manilow On Broadway Performances Delayed Because Of Bronchitis And Flu

Barry Manilow will not be on Broadway in the upcoming weeks due to illness.

Singer and actor Barry Manilow has revealed that because of bronchitis he has been forced to cancel two preview performances of Manilow on Broadway that was set to take place on Thursday through Sunday – the shows will resume on Tuesday 4th of February and Wednesday 5th.

The 69-year-old entertainer who fell sick couple of weeks ago had promised fans to win the battle and returned to the stage released a statement via his website that read:

“On doctors’ orders, Manilow On Broadway has been forced to reschedule tonight’s opening night along with the remainder of this weekend’s performances.Manilow On Broadway will resume performances on Tuesday, January 29… Barry is deeply sorry to disappoint his fans and is doing everything he can to ensure a speedy recovery.”

The “Could It Be Magic” singer has signed on to do 25 shows at the St. James Theatre in New York.
