2060 Diamonds Swallower: Mohammed Shakif – Earlier today a man was arrested by police while attempting to leave India to travel to Sri Lanka with thousands of diamonds and gemstones hidden in his stomach.
Using laxatives and bananas, Indian authorities were able to recover over 2060 diamonds and other gems that the Sri Lanka man had swallowed.
Believe it or not the individual almost got away with the crime but police in Chennai, India got suspicious after the man who was cleared from immigration was seen searching in a bizarre manner for two luggages.
The smuggler was later booked, but during the interrogation he revealed that he had difficulties sitting still due to hemorrhoids, so Indian authorities accompanied him to Chromepet Government Hospital for examination.
The medical examinations revealed that the Sri Lankan had swallowed 42 condoms containing 2,060 diamonds and other gems, before boarding the plane.
